What good graphics rcard would you recoment for a game such as world of tanks? i have stock gfx card from my 2005 dell pc, and i run 3-9fps usually 4-5 fps. i have over 3gb of ram.

it's a first revision of aftermarket model for 9600gt. to me it has terrible design as the heatsink can blew all the hot air to the hard drive cause it overheated. even higher noise which compare to original reference model and pcb layoff is completely cost down...overall it's not a good choice if you are a serious gamer who have tighter budget. but it's ok for average joe.

No thats not it at all- what do you take me as a fool? I have been building/working in the computer industry for years now. I know what Motion Blur is i know the technology and techniques used to make motion blur, if anything, motion blur needs higher fps to maintain realism and smooth gameplay. 25 fps in any game is playable- Please try to focus.

Dude wtf quake? Play Crysis or FarCry 2. Play them at 25 FPS then play them at 100 fps. Yes of course the 100 FPS is going to play smoother because when the frame rate dips, its not going to effect game play since it has so many fps to play with. Where as the 25 fps medium will skip here and there because anything below 25 fps will seem to stutter a bit. Reguardless 25fps is smooth gameplay.

Its actually supposed to be 32fps and that is some what true. There really isn't to much difference between 32 fps and 1,000 fps- of course higher fps means less chance of frame drops causing lag which means a smoother more constant frame rate and smoother hiccup free game play.

I have this card single. I am really really really satisfied with its performance. I can run Mirrors edge very high very little lag. Wow plays beautiful full spec and crysis runs well at medium smooth while firing. BTW i HAVE DUO CORE 6300 2 GB Patriot heatsinked 500q psu.
