  • bold is better i think plz coment ur opinions ;}

  • Hi @lukeyboy184,

They are both great handsets and pretty similar in features. I personally prefer the 9860 because it's touch screen but that's just my opinion.

Either would be a great choice of phone. :)

    Thanks,

  • never noticed the screen

  • it looks SO huge on her hands o.0

  • more of a storm then a torch tbh

  • @VODAFONEUK really great review but can you please please help ne deside between the bold 9900 or the torch 9860 .... Really need help!!!! Thanks

  • Hi @Bryssaitchison,

    Thank you! :)

The two handsets are very similar in specification. The main difference is the overall appearance so it's really down to personal preference.

If you are unsure, I would suggest nipping to your local Vodafone store to have a go of both. That way, you can see whether you prefer the touch screen or the QWERTY keyboard.

    Thanks,

    Heidi

  • @VODAFONEUK sexy heidi

  • this phone right here is the shi*

  • who sings the song in the background i really like the tune! nice vid! x

  • Great review, just a question in mind. I've seen videos on this, and when you are texting there is a bar on top of the keyboard to hide it, does that bother you? As in like do you tap it on accident now and then? Because I heard it's easy to tap while texting on accident and it frustrates people... I really wanted to know if this is going to be a problem of this phone.

  • Hi @TurkTainment,

I've not found this to be a problem at all. However with all new phones it will take a little bit of getting used to. :)

    Thanks,

  • awesome videos and i actually didn't like the point where is no keyboard on this blackberry torch 9860 i think blackberry'S BASE is the keyboard my opinion, so i may go to the 9900 bold i think it gives choices for th ones who love keyboard and the ones who like touch screen, anyways you've done great videos :) hope you continue better

    continue to the best,

    Tarek :)

  • Hi @itechno1997,

  • @VODAFONEUK Greetings from your friend over in the U.S.! I love the device, I've been following it for quite some time. I love the form factor, and the lighting-quick responsiveness of OS7! Wish we had you guys over here, lol.....Also, I'm loving the background music! Is that an actual record? Or is it an original score designed by you guys? Please let me know. Thanks!

  • @VODAFONEUK its my pleasure, your welcome :)

  • It looks like a grate phone may be i go for one in apr when i can up grade with vodafone

  • does it not have a flip out key board?? xx

  • Hi @MrsEmilybieber100,

It's a fully touch screen device so it has no external keyboard. I loved using it, it was extremely responsive and makes it easier to type quickly.

Why not pop down to a store and have a go to see what you think? :)

    Kind regards,

  • @WayneTheGreat1815 Its not weird. If you want a BB with physical keyboard, go for 9900 or 9810 which gives you two great options. This BB is only for those who enjoy full touch with bigger screen.

  • the blackberry 7 browser is the fastest web browser to date ? have you ever heard about android ??

  • @WayneTheGreat1815 anytime. :)

  • @WayneTheGreat1815 blackberry said, the torch chain represents the touch blackberries. storms have no keyboard, but they're not touch, they still click. ;) hope this helps!

  • this does not have a front camera.......their stupid.......iphone 4 is da best right now

  • @jovel333 Are you screaming because you got iphone4?

  • Awesome :)

  • @Issaland I am pleased you like it. It's a great phone! :)

  • @WayneTheGreat1815 RIM abandoned the clicking touchscreen keyboard on the Storm - which was the USP of the Storm device. As a result of the popularity of the Torch brand, RIM decided to franchise the name into a selection of handsets. If they'd called this phone the Storm 3, it may have a detremental effect on sales.

  • no keyboard?

  • @MrDxb2011 It has no physical keyboard, instead it's a full touchescreen QWERTY keypad.

  • she's talking about a blackberry and shows the iphone 4 at 1:06 xD

  • boring

  • Seriously, what was RIM thinking of when they designed this phone. The only reasons I would choose Blackberry over alternatives are its physical qwerty keyboard, long battery life and push-email. This phone does not have physical keyboard and because it has a huge touch-screen, I doubt the battery will last very long. The tech isn't that new, the display isn't as good as iPhone or high-end Androids, and it certainly does not have as many apps as iPhone or Androids...

  • @igotnoideawhattoput The typical hater...

  • @pinswapme Dont get me wrong, I'm using the 9800 and had another BB before. Even so my faith in BB has started to crack because they just don't sync in with my life. I live in Australia and local-oriented apps are as rare as dinosaurs.

  • @WayneTheGreat1815 No tactile feedback when you press on the screen = not storm

  • Hi does this blackberry have NFC and a autofocus camera????

  • @dhil1on Research suggests that Blackberry 7 does come with NFC. Autofocus is standard on high end Blackberry devices!

  • @nemotimothy You don't rely on researchs. You rely on facts and reality.

  • @WayneTheGreat1815 they have another new torch with qwerty its the 9810

  • Heidi, your voice is pretty great.

  • too ugly machine :/

  • 1:06 thanks :D I now know iPhone is on Vodafone. That's what i watched this video for :D

  • Do you think you can tell us where to find this Vodafone UK wallpaper for the 9780?

  • hoefully for Verizon!!

  • Omg this phone is awesome!

  • nice

  • Those buttons on the front are very... prominent.

  • yawn! blackberry, always playing catch up with Apple and El Goog.

  • NICE!!!

  • Decent b

  • Right hand strategically placed over the "property of rim" sticker

  • @WhatYeahOkay88 so what? You'll not get sticker when you buy it. Don't worry.

  • sneak peak!
