  • Thanks!

  • Very solemn

  • very nice]

  • These are most likely Ukrainians or Belarussians since 90% of Polish Orthodox Church is not Polish.

  • They are Polish because they have polish nationality:)

  • 90% of Orthodox in Poland are not Polish. My dad's friend is half-Belarussian and is Orthodox and has Catholic wife and raised kids Catholic.

  • 1 West Belarus was In Poland before IIWW

2 west Ukrain was in POland before IIWW

3 my mother was orthodox and she was Polish

4 In my town 30% of population mayby more are orthodox, and i never heard that some of them have Belarus nationality, I live 20 km from Belarus

  • I know that but she probably is of Belarussian or Ukrainian ethnicity. I am American but of Polish ethnicity. Majority of those Orthodox are not really Polish. Majority of Roman Catholics in Belarus and Ukraine are not really Ukrainian or Belarussian but of Polish ethnicity.

  • You can say that orthodox religion come from Rus Kijowska, in XI century. But not that 99% of people who belong to orthodox church today have Belarus or Ukrain roots. 900 years ago there wasn't a coutry like Belarus or Ukrain.:) There was Ruś Kijowska

    (sorry for bad englich:)

  • Dude these people are majority NOT Polish. Poland is strongly Roman Catholic. I know people who are half-Belarussian here in America who are also half-Polish and are Orthodox. They even told me most in Polish Orthodox Church are not Catholic.

  • How can I explane this to You?:) If someone is in 1/6 Belarus and 5/6 Polish Where he should belong to Belarus ethnic group? or to Polish?:) I thing that we should close that discuscion, Polish people, Belarus people are the same nation. But if You could came here and see how many family have a dubble Christmas:). cause half of family is orthodox, and half catholic, what You would tell abaut them? they are Polish or Belarus?

  • Okay they are Poles of Belarussian ethnicity.

  • ooohhhmmmm ;/ I see that I can't change Your thinking.

I wish You Happy New Year:)

    Szczęśliwego Nowego Roku:)

  • Listen I know the statistics and these people are 90% Ukrainian and Belarussian. Its like Muslims in France who are born in France but are of Arab ethnicity.

  • This is true, because they come to France not long time ago, but orthodox church came here 900 years ago, this is 450 generation. What abaut muslim? who live here 700 years? They are from tatars, but they don't look like tatars they have white skin, some of them have blond hair and blue eyes? Do You see my point? What 700 years can make from ethnic group, so what 900 years can do?

  • Okay but Poland is still Catholic and the Orthodox that live their are of Ukrainian and Belarussian descent. I know ppl from there like my dad's friend who is part Belarussian.
