@jamiew48 it's the fact they are so smooth, powerful, compact, and make an awesome noise and smell! Nothing like the smell of Jet A1 wafting down the flightline!

What are turbine advantages over electric helis of the same size?

@kirikset no real advantage, perhaps slightly more more power, but a big weight penalty. It's more for something a bit different, and the noise and smell is awesome.

@erikdravn It's changed a fair bit since this video as the wiring has all been tidied away (this video was taken before any of the final bits were done), and it has just been converted to Kero-Start, so no gas on board now. I'll get another video of it shortly :)

@funnyminky jet A1. Normal aviation fuel bought from a local airport with a 5% (I think I my memory seves me right) mix of aeroshell 500 oil :)

@MFizzle777 No! Uses way more fuel, but produces more power, but at the same time is heavier. It's cheaper to run than a nitro though.
