  • Cool version!

  • Really really cool. Maybe the backing is a little bit to loud. But you play awesome, very cool.

  • Dude, you make it sound very nice and easy, so my conclusion:

    I like it!

  • did you record the bassline with a keyboard or something? and what and whta about the drum?is it a loop or recorded with a keyboard and quantized?

  • FAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...(I'm joking)..very good man

  • Great playing!!

  • absolutely fantastic....very....soft! I like it!

  • You have a nice sound, it felt in the pocket most of the time, and I like that you weren't trying to fly all over the place. As I get older, I start to agree with guys like Wes and Bill Evans. Sometimes less really is more. I salute you for having the maturity to go your own way and ignore all of the pressure to be a speed hound.

  • This is a really nice rendition. Cheers ;)

  • oh ..very nice and u hv good taste of notes choice

  • wel done bro!

  • hey man, beautiful, just one question, where did you get your backing track from?

  • hello echioderm, the backing track it´s a selfmade in my homestudio.

  • Very nice my frends!!

  • nice, really nice

  • you sound great... im working my ass off to play this song at my college jazz guitar audition....

  • Can I ask, what's that progression you play at the very beginning before you lead it into the head?

Could you give your answer in roman numeral form cause we're probably learning this tune in dif keys. Cheers!

  • He plays. Cmaj7 - Ebmaj7 - Abmaj7 - Dbmaj7.

sorry don't know the roman numeral form.

  • The song is in C right? C being the 1. In roman numerals it'd be (D flat) flat2 major 7, flat 2 minor with a major seventh, than a 7(B) major seven, then a 7 minor with a major 7th, next is a 5 sixth chord, then a 1 dominant 9 , then a flat 6(Aflat) minor chord with a major 7th. Glad I could of been in an assistance. Good luck

  • kind of slow, but nice

  • Good stuff. I personally like it better with the Ab on the 4th bar and the A on the 8th. kinda gives it a kick. but you did awesome job

  • Nice feeling!

  • can i ask you what kind of jazz is this ?? is this swing or ....

  • yes, i would say, it is swing and bebop, or the crossover from swing to bebop. but my version is a very relaxed bebop :-)

    regards

  • good shit - keep it up

  • Awesome playing! Just with the melody - are the ends of the first two phrases supposed to land on the fifth? I thought they were on the flat 5 - maybe you did play them there and i'm just inattentive

    Nevermind - awesome stuff anyhow!

  • yes, you´re right. normaly I play the flat 5, but sometimes I don´t. It´s just how I feel. This version sounds a little bit cleaner, although I like the flat 5.
