I learned the main riff on bass guitar, on the highest end of the Guitar so the tone matches his guitar. it's hard to hold that first note, but it sounds cool still.

i took 2 hits of acid. put this song on repeat for about an hour. The middle break that starts at 2:10 or so seemed very dreamy. It fits beautifully with the song as the main character enters an altered state of mind and tries figure out his problems.

yeah i see what you're saying, but i also dont give a fuck about what a book says. nothing cannot create something, its that simple. even the other universes would have to have been created at one point, to then "kick start" another universe.
and btw, im not a christian so that jest was funny but doesnt bother me, as i see the inherent problems with religion at well.

This is why God cannot be proven or disproved (faith)... but by common sense people should know there's probably no god. Religion is divisive... controls societies by presenting a hell and fear of being tortured there for eternity so you follow the rules in this first life.

I always find humor when people say "If you were a real fan" or "real fans," I mean, perhaps you feel a certain way, but I don't believe there is a club somewhere that debates authenticity of fan quality.
I have artists that I enjoy the work of greatly, but enjoy some of their pieces of art more than other pieces.
Without the necessity of saying it, this song is great.

This is definitely one of the songs that would make a person fall in love with them. It was close. The first song I had heard by them was their whole Float On radio hit, and I enjoyed it, but the song that made me fall in love with them was probably Trucker's Atlas. Or Edit the Sad Parts.
But yeah. This song is one of those sorts of songs!

Yeah, I find myself always going to this song first when I put this album on...I musta' listened to this fucking album at least a couple of hundred times on repeat...I read this cool Pontius Pilate biography to this album, it fit really well with the songs...

Yeah, it just seemed that a lot of the songs referenced Jesus and God, and it was really a cool time in my life...the album made the book like a hundred times more enjoyable than if I had just read the book without the background music...

Thing is, and I'm not quite sure on this, I think that Isaac Brock is also Atheist, and if not atheist, at least agnostic...but, hey, I'm Atheist, and I still find the parables of the Bible to be incredible and interesting to say the least...I just don't actually believe in God...

i do agree that somethings from the bible are interesting and im pretty sure that Isaac is either of the two, but the thing is when people shove religion down your throat for years and years, saying repent and pretty much scaring you into religion...thats not how it should be, religion is really a man and an entity or even a damn toaster, its what a man wants to believe in, and everyone who wants to say no you have to believe in this is wrong, thats just not how religion was intended to be.

Oh, man, you don't have to convince me...I've actually had to take a step back and take a breather, I was despising religion and religious people so much...I still don't have much time for them, my only problem is, I'm falling in love with a super catholic...Now I'm all mixed up...she's very very intelligent, yet still believes in God and all that mess...I never thought someone that intelligent COULD believe that...guess I was wrong...

thats how it is with me right now x.x so thats why religion shouldnt be brought up into conversations lol it just makes things all complicated and gets people offended =/ but then again if you tell her how things are, and that you dont believe in "god" but you still want to be with her, and if she rejects you then obviously she wasnt worth it ya know?

easily believable... most of his "religious" lyrics are just sort of poking holes in it. Esp. Styrofoam boots. The whole idea of baking mana and gas I always thought was a poke at hardcore fundamentalists who think god planted dinosaur bones to test our faith. It had to come from somewhere, so Isaac's saying they bake it in heaven to ship to earth basically. lol. Plus most of Moon&Antarctica seems kinda on the philosophical side favoring logic over religion.
