I uploaded a new version (better Earth)and YouTube deleted everything. By the way, this version is encoded with HuffYUV loosless codec, and I'm pretty much satisfied. I saw your stuff, I like it!

Oh, and another question, was all of this made in cinema 4D, like the infedal films and the galaxy at :32. Because, if you saw my videos you know I like space :P. Oh and the earth and other planets, after effects or 4D?
U asked me about the quality of the video, I encoded it with a free codec found on Internet: HuffYUV.
Infidel films is Shatter effect (and Knoll Light Factory) of After Effects, the galaxy is a tutorial found on Internet which I modified a bit: anyway, it's all AE (Trapcode Particular and Form with Depth of Field option), I suppose the same way u made the asteroid belt
I meant like I had no idea what a codec HuffYUV is. Were the planets made with AE also? And can you point me in the direction of the galaxy tutorial? Thanks.
Earth and planets are made with Cinema 4D just because is a LOT easier: simple spheres with hi res textures found on NASA site (maps, bump maps, specular maps, clouds etc.)
I'm not sure if you use blender at all, but if you did could you teach me how to make planets? That's the main thing that I need to learn to keep making space vids, once I learn how to make a nice 3d planet, my vids will be a TON better.
I don't know blender, i suppose is the same as 4D. U create a light (Sun), a camera, a sphere for earth, one just a bit bigger for clouds, one bit bigger for atmosphere, then u create a material for each sphere and apply it to the spheres (to be continued...)
...In each material you put the textures: earth map, sea reflection map, mountains map for the first sphere, clouds map for the cloud sphere, just a glow for the atmosphere.
I'll give you the address of galaxy tutorial and earth tutorial for 4D, i think you can adapt it for blender
Alright thanks a lot, I'll try it out. And I know this is a totally different topic, but I don't know how to import 3d material from blender or any 3d program into after effects. But for now just send me the tutorials, and I'll check those out and learn the rest later.
