first of all Dan is losing his hair, it's thinning quite a bit so he's said he'll never grow it long again cause it would look shite. second, they are indeed demoing new songs in studio or the next album. tey worked at Seedy Underbelly in LA (where Young Modern was recorded) but will cut the album in Australia in the fall. Dan said look to "We're Not Lonely But We Miss You" as an indication of the new albums direction

I had a 19-year-old boyfriend who was already balding, so it doesn't really matter what age a man is before he starts losing his hair. It all depends on their genetics.

No, he clearly is. You can see where his hairline is receding back. Look at the upper right and left sides of his head.

I mean, just remember all that he went through... Anorexia, arthritis with hundreds of pills (maybe chemical, who knows) nad all that stress hw had to deal with... I think that very normal and natural... For the first time I saw him bold (in 2003? or so) I thought about that his diseases and hair should bond in some way... I liked his hair best during freak era and then just before the diorama came out... Oh, I still love him! It doesn't matter how he looks... ♥
