i owned a 2008 chrysler t&c touring, comfort, styling and reliability. i love it. my only complain is the brakes. very slow to react, maybe bcoz of the big engine and heavy body like an H3. mine have a 3.8L V6 with only 195hp. = ( .thats wat the siena beats the T&C. but the 4.0L is great. the siena is the only minivan that don't get a 5stars frontal crash.

My wife is allergic to minivans.

Myself I've given up on most American cars: I've owned two Chryslers, a '98 Dodge Intrepid, a car that I liked but whose transmission blew up for no reason costing me a fortune to repair, and then it was inexplicably discontinued, another American orphan and yet another slap in the face of a loyal American consumer... and I also owned a '02 Sebring (don't get me started on the low quality).

Add to this the UAW bailouts & the "green" Obama-cars... FORGET IT!!!

We have owned T&C's and Caravans. In our last van buying event we made the mistake of heeding van reviews last year and purchased Toyota Sienna. The biggest issues are terrible ride, road noise and gas mileage. My 2001 T&C with 148,000 miles looks great, rides great, and gets great mileage. Also, had dealer / factory representative issues with Toyota. My next van purchase will be a T&C or Caravan.

I always though the town and country and caravan where pretty cool.. i really liked how chrysler put the logo in the front of the town and country around 1999.. beautiful looking van.. i want one loaded up. probably a dark color makes em look sexy....

Finally a former import van owner who will admit the truth. Thank you for your honesty.The Odyessy also has quite a few quality issues. The Chrysler minivans had a 20 year head start on most other companies! The VW van is also good(built by Chrysler).

How can you even say that?! I've driven a '94 Plymouth Voyager (basically, the same thing as the the Caravan and Town & Country) and an '04 Odyssey in snowy conditions and I'd shoot myself before driving the Odyssey in that again. It was impossible to control, whereas the ol' Voyager has yet to be challenged at all by winter conditions.

well actually the first nissan quest was no more than a mercury villager with a nissan badge even built right in my home state of Ohio but it did use an engine from the nissan maxima the good ol V6 3000 (nissan language for 3.0 liter V6)

As someone said earlier it's hard to say which van (Sienna, Odyssey, and T&C) is best. The Toyota is the silent, smooth-riding one with a seriously strong engine, and AWD is a boon for us up north. The Odyssey just drives like a car and has the nicest interior styling and quality in my opinion. Best seats too. The T&C has lots of technology and content.

Really a tough decision. Hard to decide. I'd be pleased with any of them.

Its funny you say that because I was just thinking that. I think if I was really looking, though, the T&C's poor reliability ratings would be a turn off for me. Even kbb had serious issues with their Grand Caravan long termer, which I'm surprised they didn't mention (may have been after this vid)

I have riden in a Honda Odyssey. The ride feels strong to me. I have never driven a Toyota Sienna or the Town and Country. I think the Town and Country looks the best out of the three Interior and Exterior. I dont know whether it has the best technology, but seats are comparable. What does a car drive like?

this van must be great. i have a 96 T&C and the comfort and versatility stands out even for such an old car. imagine this new one. the T&C, Odyssey, and Sienna are all close competitors. The Odyssey has MDS (cylinder deactivation, i call it that since it came out on the magnum and 300C) and handling characteristics of a car and not a minivan, BUT it IS somewhat down on cargo space compared to the other two. my vote goes to the Sienna. Optioned out it must be a haven for a small family.
