all these neutral plate is an waste of material.. why ..the more you add.. the weaker the production .. its drewing lower amp.. but you got add more electrolyte ,, they more electrolyte you add.. the more amp you suck in and more heat.. then you back to squire one again
hi there.. i am a great fan of ur work.. i just wanted to know weather we can use a plastic pet jar to immerse the cells and collect hho for trial purpose...??
I started using stainless screen wire rolled closely together, take three layers spaced as closely as possibeand roll them up, the results are amazing, less amps, more bubbles than plates, and i also tried solder and it works well, i used 2 stainless plates with a solder spiral as a 3rd in the middle and no browning, solder is amazing for hho plates, try and see for yourself.
why the neutral plates i just want to know if there is a major reason for it and in later movie how much of an efficiency boost did you get with the pwm?
thank you for excellent inf on all of your videos -tell me does the goop glue hold up in the heat - any experience with the cells coming part with the goop on the side
I'm sorry if you have answered this, but in your limited usage with the plates, do they brown to the point of reducing efficiency? Will they ever completely wear out?
Also is sulphuric acid a bad idea to use for the electrolyte? When I built a very basic "hydro boost" system a couple years ago I purchased 6 or 7 quarts of the acid to use. I read in the hydroboost article that one should alternate between baking soda and sulphuric acid, so the internals of the engine do not become acidic.
I made sure to before I asked. You did say this grade of stainless steel lasted much longer.. but I have a feeling that grade of steel is hideously expensive. I'm going to call a welding shop today and ask. And you did not mention sulphuric acid, but 3 others instead.
great vid! keep it up. i am new to hho and have been reading and watching. i am vry interested to make and use one. where could i get information in making the cell? aside from the vids posted any more info to get me started is highly appreciated. keep up the good work.
sorry if I am wrong but all the plates are not connected to - or + right? is that better? or would it be better to have each one - or +? this is the only place you have lost me in he build.
thanks a stack for all you have done, are doing, and will be doing in the future.
I'm actually running a HHO Electrolyzer in my car along with some fuel reforming efforts and hopefully will not be having to frequent them fuel stations at such regular intervals from now on. Will be recording mileage and consumption as thing progress...
Hi, You may have already said this but what is the thickness and size of each plate. i love this design. i almost have everything to make one like it. But i have not got the stainless yet. i have been collecting some parts over the winter. Thanks
I wouldn't be nervous. I'd bet money your dry cell will still surpass this one for efficiency simply by virtue of the lesser leakage current created by smaller exposed edges. Although maybe not. If your feed through holes are 1/2" dia that's 1.57" of exposed edge per hole to my 1.5" at the top and bottom of my brick when I'm done assembling the acrylic panels.

Also, what do you mean by "brute force"? Is there some other way of performing electrolysis of water?

Well, there, super whiz, take a look at my FAQ and read why we use neutrals. Then build yours and show us why you think it's better.

Try stainless screen wire rolled closely together, three layers spaced as closely together, as possibeand roll them up and see for yourself

Thanks ZFF for the excellent information.
I recently discovered cable ties and rubber bands myself As well as the plate shapes i.e. the leads as part of the plates).
So far, which plate style and config do you like best?
I'd recommend your videos to anyone wanting to learn this stuff. Good stuff keep up the great work!

I thought a Brute Force system meant no N plates? I'm just a beginner.

It softens a bit but holds up very well.

Hi! I was wondering what metal did you use to make the cell plates out of? BTW I really enjoy your work and sharing.

zero,
i would be using this on my pick up. its a 2005 tdi 3.0 ltr diesel. 4 cylinders. again. keep up the good work.

Your work is fantastic, thank you for all the information. I have a question;
The plates look very smooth and polished. Would it be better to rough the finish with fine emery cloth/sandpaper?

Interested in the output of this cell ZFF...
denton3737 3 years ago
It should be able to achive an overall output of at least double the current SS304 tall brick I'm using now, more than 3.5 LPM. Ever hopeful.

I can't wait to see the results.
