My first step into a big city, was into this one.. my friend who let me into wow said that Stormwind would feel even more epic if i would go there. I disagree :> Now even as Horde, i sometimes just fly over, try to find a quiet spot to sit down, and enjoy the city. a shame that not more people are coming to this city, it is peace itself.

How on earth... I played WoW (alliance) for 5 years and I don't recognize most of this music. And it's not like I haven't literally spent days worth of time sitting in darnassus... this is the strangest thing.

ahh... darnassus... teldrasil... good old times... i think that people do actually love vanilla more coz of feelings to the first exploration of the huge world they felt... now it's nothing more than a good continue to previous stories... u cant feel the same again.

I remember back in 2004 when WoW was released, I played an orc shammy and when I came to level 40 I bought my mount and it was totally awesome. Ran over to Darkshore and killed some guards to frighten some allys there. Strangely I took the boat from there and came to darnassus and thought that city was cool plus this song! Unfortunately, my visit to Darnassus was very shortlived since 10 lvl 60 guards decided to put an axe to my head. Had to die 20 times in order to get out of that place. =b

Walking in to darnassus for the first time with this music was probably the seccond most awe inspiring moment of my WoW career. The most awe inspiring was the first step through the dark portal.

@hubuly I remember years back while playing vanilla, I was probably in like grade 6 or 7 at the time playing some sort of night elf female class and seeing a high level gnome mage... I don't know why but since seeing how beautiful darnassus was at day time and my favourite race makes that my #1 memory

Horde got the short end of the stick on their major cities, void of Silvermoon, Undercity is okay...Ironforge is epic, Stormwind is a freakin castle, Darnassus is the prettiest (and it's the most convenient in terms of size), Exodar sucks I'll be blunt, most confusing place I've ever been to. and as for the new Cataclysm cities, we'll just have to find out.

Yeah, but keep in mind they're opening zones like Grim-Batol in Khaz-Modan, which is close to Ironforge, and they may be opening some of the old raid instances, such as Molten Core and BWL. but they're gonna make a new big underwater sanctuary city, which is probably gonna be the main city such as Dalaran and Shattrath. But who knows?

btw i heard they may remake Gnomeregan into a faction capital and trolls will get their own city to.

Sometimes I wish Night Elves weren't so popular. The Night Elf population on my realm (Whisperwind) outnumbers the entire Horde population, 7k to 6k. Now if you include the 7k Humans and 10k split between Gnomes, Dwarves and Draenei, that is quite a balance issue!

I wish Night Elves and Humans couldn't have babies anymore. :)

Druids are great. Perhaps one of the most versitile classes. But like any new class, you need to choose which talent you'd wanna go with. Most build Balancedtil they reach the 60s. At which point, people go either feral or the other (forgot the title - been a while since I rolled one) one which is healer. Balanced is best for lvling tho in the beginning.

I used to play Alliance and switched to Horde. In the call of duty to my brethren I sacked many cities... but I could never bring myself to attack Darnassus or Teldrassil, where I first took my beginning steps in the world of warcraft <3

@MrTotallyRad I also could not attack my sister elves! :O I switched my huntress over to horde, and the only way I ever got my Tyrande kill for FTH was that earlier i had killed Sylvanas and when you switch, a Sylvanas kill counts as a Tyrande kill :o And frankly, Darnassus is offlimits, and I wont even attack an aggresive Nightelf NPC, and would NEVER hurt my Sentinels <3 :3
