This band is good I like it needs better mixing and sometimes has to much going on. BUt if you mix it right it doesnt matter it would jsut add layers which is good. The talents there. I want to see this band grow. ENough said solos are good too though.

I don't get it either. Not a single one of us on this album listened to ATR, or even at that point heard of them. To this day I can't even name one song by them. When I hear or read the words All That Remains, I think of the band Three. I can speak for 3 of us that would agree. That's how much we don't listen to and are not influenced by ATR. There ALOT better live. Ive seen them a bunch of times before they got signed. They were a local band. They deserve to tour with Kreator even if they are different genres this band deserves to get there name out there. They are amazing, great guys to talk and very good.
Epicurean is not only my favorite band, but they are incredibly nice people, ive had the oportunity to talk to john gensmer the drummer and john the singer, and they are honestly more wholesome then you would assume.

Yeah, they're all really nice guys, I talked to them last Friday after a show and they're all cool and funny guys. I like them better live though, I hate the album mixes, the keys are too loud and the guitars don't sound as heavy in the mix as they do live.

I have, I listened to them for a bout two weeks just trying to find a part when I'd like them. I just can't, they're too quiet and seem to electronize his voice. He's a great singer and the musicians are very talented, but I just dont like them. And that's just my opinion. These guys add more melody and you can see beauty and power.

He's a great singer and the musicians are very talented, but I just dont like them. And that's just my opinion. These guys add more melody and you can see beauty and power.

I agree, ATR is definately an amazing band. Their CD The Fall of Ideals is probably my favorite, but their new CD; Overcome is also of epic proportions!! ^_^

I wouldn't say that Epicurean kicks ATR's ass, but I have to agree that Epicurean is better, and this is the only song I've heard from them.
But All That Remains is the first band I've found that I like every single song on one of their albums.
I'm just glad I found Epicurean, they really live up to the first four letters of their name.

of course! they need to record at a better studio or something too. this album lacked power and its because of the production. i still love it though. 5/5 album
