I have a bad back due to an accident, I love cupping. I had it done today and my back looks terrible but I feel great. It helps muscle spasms and losens you up. When your having it done, it just feels like a tight suction. If you have a VERY low pain tolerance It might hurt but I enjoy the feeling. Very relaxing and worth it!

It doesn't burn at all. There's no heat. You are only using the fire to create a vacuum within the cups. The cups themselves don't get hot. The red bruises are actually blood moving to the surface of the skin. Cupping is used to increase circulation and relieve pain and stiffness.

@sinthukuna88 I'm an acupuncturist. There should never be heat contact with the skin. Ever. It's against the law to do that in the US. You WILL get a bruise, because of the suction of the cups.
