That's an ignorant thing to say. Rubio will have trouble early on with his defense, the kid is only 18. I think he'll be a good defender once he gets stronger, but nowhere near the best defender in the NBA.
Of course he wont be leading scorer; hes a pass first point guard. A pointguard scoring doesnt always lead to a win or make a him a better player (although its a plus). Look at Jason Kidd. He doesnt lead his team in scoring at all, but he's a floor general and a leader who makes the right plays, some by passing, defense, or even scoring in the crunch time.

@burry the game clock starts but not your 24 sec. possesion. So if there is 30 seconds left in the quarter, u bounce it off your chest and pick it up after 6 seconds, then u can run out the quarter with 1 possesion

Of course he wont be leading scorer; hes a pass first point guard. A pointguard scoring doesnt always lead to a win or make a him a better player (although its a plus). Look at Jason Kidd. He doesnt lead his team in scoring at all, but he's a floor general and a leader who makes the right plays, some by passing, defense, or even scoring in the crunch time.

He's sorta like PIstol in the passing and maybe ball handling area, but no where near the scoring machine he was. Pistol was an underrated and great player. Pistol was a prodigy, probably my favorite player. Yep Rudy's Spanish. haha A Team Spain huh. They played together in the Olympics so I guess it happened for awhile.

He's like Rubio, but he was NBA MVP twice. And level in Spanish league is very high, also in Euroleague. Josh Childress was pretty solid player in NBA, but he doesn't score 30, 40 or 50 points here. NBA teams are stronger, but Europeans know one good word - defense, what is uknown for some NBA teams.

Not enough INDIVIDUAL skills maybe... Dooh... But that's not about Rubio. Cmon, he played in strongest team in Europe, he was regular starter and one of leaders of Barcelona. Even Navarro, who is one of the best European players scored only 14ppg. Why? Cause in Barcelona were enough great players who can score. Rubio isn't scorer, he's playmaker. And he did his job this season great.

As for comparing Rubio to Jennings, that's just rude. Jennings is an athlete, with an actualy jumpshot. Rubio will never start over johny flynn. I watched to see what all the hype with this kid was about. I realized it's just hype. Predicted as 3rd overall pick, yet the first 4 teams didn't want him.. Wonder why.
