Who cares if Hatsune Miku is not real. I mean i don't see anything about being a singer, that you have to be REAL in order to sing. And what some people think is that she's completely fake and that her voice isn't even real. That's where your 100% wrong her voice is taken from a REAL singer, they just synthesized it. Thus creating Ms.Hatsune's voice. Yes Miku's voice is a little high pitched, but just like with a real singer, her voice can go LOWER.

And the fanbase doesn't consist of 12 year olds it contains people from 12 years to their late 20s and maybe even older. Sure, I think Hatsune Miku has a cute-sounding voice and a cute-looking design and yap yap yap but I wouldn't go to one of her concerts... I just enjoy listening to the works of my many favorite producers. There's nothing wrong with that.

She sounds amazing and not irritating in songs like Eazy Dance, Hello/How Are You, Light Falls, and others. The thing about a Vocaloid's voice is that it varies from song to song depending on who is controlling them.
Miku can sound amazing in one song but then be screechy in another...
