Yes, it's a part of the culture, unfortunately. I say that because the fact is that the sale of marijuana is illegal, as it is here in the U.S. People focus only on the "physical benefits" to legitimize its use, but people tend to totally discard that marijuana, like any other mind altering drug, permanently destroys brain cells and interferes with cognitive abilities.
