That guy in the video does sound like the narrator though, for sure in those movies. Certainly not the original TV series as Waylon Jennings was balladeer in that one. That General Lee in that video looks nice, but they didn't run white walls in the show, only black walls. My only guess is,  so they wouldn't have to pay for royalties to the tire company for advertising their name during filming?, beats me...

The General Lee had the pushbar most of the time, but there were some scenes that it didn't have it. One episode where Bo & Luke jump over a big rig on the way to meet Uncle Jesse at the Court House, and when they arrive, the General Lee is missing the pushbar. That may be the part you remember the General Lee not having one, and a few other scenes as well.

there were about 300 general lee's in stock, only 17 survived the show, so this one is pretty rare, unless it's fake ofcourse..

btw, at the end, didn't they sometimes use a '68 or a '70?

yes they used 68's and 70's frequently because they were easily converted to look like a 69 charger because of the tail lights and panel. and the front grille

309 according to Ben Jones, 19 survived, 17 were sold WB kept two, one was used in the reunions & movie, and the other was crushed, 2 lost lees were found & one is currently back to being a lee can't really count LEE1 anymore, since it was butchered

General Lee was a Legend war Hero, and this Dodge Charger Bo and Luke using to make justice in Hazzard because Hoggs law is unjust to everybody, so Bo and Luke named it to General Lee because that Charger fights all the way for Hazzard and The Dukes and it's in The South.. Do you understand know??? The Real General Lee was a Hero, General Lee(the car) is a Hero.. So there's the explanation to why it having that name.. Know an Ape also understands!

Actually. 80% of the cars used in the show didnt have the doors welded shut. I live near Macungie PA, and there is a general lee that drives around that was one of the originals used in the show. The one in this video may verywell be the same one.
