Id say its a good idea overall. Its good that a beginner (I assume) like him is already making a guitar that doesnt break in about 30 seconds. Please let him keep playing and making guitars or other things and share his creativity and ignore the others that dont see what he could accomplish in the future. BUT NEXT TIME DONT LET HIM USE A SLIDE FOR NO APPARENT REASON
