In America, we have an event called See You At The Pole where students gather around flagpoles and pray for their school, country, and the like. That's what she's referring to. :)

@mushiyaa plastic Jesus as in a decoration. she didnt like how the real Jesus in the skit was convicting her. just like most church folk today dont like to hear the complete counsel of the Lord. they dont want to be convicted so they go for the "feel good" type of gospel. a fake plastic Jesus.

lots of my friends only go to church on the holidays. they say their parents dont take them. their catholic and catholics at least have to go on holy days of obligation and thats it. and going ONLY on those days is wrong though.

if a person doesnt have a direct relationship with Jesus Christ, how are they going to heaven? just because your parents have a close relationship with Him doesnt mean you do.

Wow, sometimes i feel like i do that, like im just trying to please God out of mere obligation but its soo much more than that. It's similar to New years resolutions, why must we wait for a certain day to start working on our relationship with God? Its just silly, i mean He's so much bigger than the compact tiny box we try to put him in, and it's hard to share Christ when we don't spend enough time with him to actually know Him.
