I got 13730 gpu points in extreme bench using 2X5850 in crossfire. And it's a little low 'cause I have phenom cpu instead of i7. my cpu score is 13k points, just like i5 750 on stock clock. Also I have P24570 gpu score in performance bench instead of 27-28k because of processor. =(

Agreed, my AMD 965 quad Black Edition OCed@3.6ghz and my HD4870x2 OCed at 777 and 950 along with 8gb of ddr2 ram a stock clocks pulls a 14768 PTS.Best tweak you set up my friend as it is not running well as it should be.

How did you get your 4870x2's to work with 8.12's?

I have the same setup -- 6gbs DDR3 1600 dominator, 2x 4870x2's @ 800, core i7 @ 965 etc.etc. I get an error code when I try to enable both of these cards on 3DMARK Vantage

SLI is Nvidia. 4870X2's are ATI. ATI's crossfire can use up to four GPUs in up to Four single GPU cards or Two dual GPU cards. His system already has four GPUs and currently is the best possible from the ATI camp.

@jacobgarcia714 anything more than 4 GPUs is a waste since DirectX only renders 4 frames ahead. You either get reduced performance since the GPUs are out of step with the rendering causing lag or at best it does not help at all.
