According to the laws of perspective you should see the bridge as high as a 5*200/12= 83m tall part of the towers. That equals about 22 floors of the WTC. (The middle section of the towers had about 30 floors.)
It was a hard fight, but reality wins over my imagination. My eyes have been opened! Any explanation grounded out in Natural Law is good enough to me. I have to rethink a bunch of things.
Noop Rosy, just take a pencil. Your error is, the towers are not the foreground, they are the middleground and 5 miles away. So the 212 meters tall bridge is just a little more than twice as far away, if you like it or not.
So let's try a little relation:
200m/12miles = relating tower higth/5miles
According to the laws of perspective you should see the bridge as high as a 5*200/12= 83m tall part of the towers. That equals about 22 floors of the WTC. (The middle section of the towers had about 30 floors.)
That's what the laws of perspective say.

nice try. You used a 20mm up to may be 80mm zoom lens. Try it again because the wescam of a helicopter easily do 500mm.
btw, did you ever saw "Koyaanisqatsi"? Think about the size of the moon. ...or about anything. Just start thinking.
