while i will say mattels belts are better there is a big problem in that they only make 4 belts, jakks made all belts.

the newer ones are a 3 part strap center and the 2 waist straps and they molded in the rubbys instead of glued in ones

Got a Mattel belt today and I must say I was impressed when I opened the box. Really not to fond of spending hundreds of dollars on a replica. But this fake leather stuff is a lot better than Jakks' foam shit. Thinking of throwing my Jakks' belts into a bonfire after buying this.

well answer this, would you have a flexable belt or a really stiff one? many ppl who own replica belts with the leather find it extremely annoying and thus they do the shaving cream trick. Also they like to have thier belts "show accurate" with the belts you seen on the shows. It doesnt freely move if its really stiff.

I have to agree. I have the WWE Spinner Championship and the Heavyweight adult replica and though the strap is kinda annoying, but they are of good quality. Thus I think a replica is still better as a replica is to scale with the real belts used by the WWE, plus they're made of metal..
