  • I have a lg and i vibrates like hell should i get a miele

  • Um. I'd love it if mine only did that. Mine is MUCH worse. LG front loader. Has to go back, and yes, it has been completely leveled, several times but just trashes the place, lol.

  • remove the shipping bolts read the book berings are proably shot

  • call ATIS for current landing conditions in your area ..

  • you should see the mold around the rubber rim in my machine. the balance is always off. they don't make machines like in the old days.

  • are the shipping bolts still in ??

  • ..someone doesn't know how to hold a video camera..

We've had our LG washer for 16 months and love it. I once noticed the mold build-up, but after wiping the Door Seal and running the "Tub Clean Cycle" took care of the rest.

The water that (sometimes) remains in the Detergent Drawer doesn't cause any problems if used occasionally.

All household FL washing machines have mold problems. Ours was due to using Liquid Tide HE, and the government restriction on water usage on new washing machines.

  • When we purchased our LGs the salesman told us to leave the door open while we're away at work so that the tub and seals can completely dry out. We've done that and never had any signs of mold. Regarding the balancing issue I'm not sure about this particular LG model but there's a feature built into most LGs called "SPINSENSE". You have to activate it yourself by pressing and holding the Water Plus button for 3 seconds. You'll know it's active if the light indicating spin speed blinks.

  • LG washers aren't very good balencers. I love my Whirlpool. I've never had a problem with it. I have 2 vids of it.

  • WHY WOULD U FILM YOUR WASHER??? WTF?

  • Hey, it's better than not having no videos at all *cough*likeyou*cough*. Some people are interested in buying a new washer, and don't want to be hassled by salesmen at an appliance store. And, if its so stupid to film a washer, why are you watching this video? And more importantly, why won't you respond?

  • OK, here be my response, you fucking retarded downs muppet, I dont have videos cos im not a fucking attention seeker, Until I film a suicide or a plane crash its gonna stay that way, I didnt watch more than 3 seconds after i realised it didnt have a helicopter crash in it, I hope this answers all your concerns, cos its been bothering me that i didnt respond......

  • if you removed the bolts and maybe buy the rubber dampners that are available from LG you wouldn't have this problem... did you read your owners manual???

  • I don't like LG machines, they look pretty but they don't hold up!!! Poor quality inside.

  • Hi guys,

I'm just about to buy a new washing machine and pending between an LG WD 12475 BD and a Siemens WM14574XEE. Which one do you recommend? Why?

  • Just get the Kenmore HE5 combo while they're still out their on sale. Make sure they have the good locks on the door, and not that ones where the door opens up by itself when closed. LMAO, that's what happened to me when a sales person was trying to prove the door was ok. Then it automatically/magically popped open, and I left from Sears.

  • lgs are the fastest spinners. they have to be on a solid constructed floor ceramic tile or cement. i service them. you can tell by this video it is off balance. lgs and samsung direct drive washers have less vibration of any other front loading model.

  • Wrong on both counts. Gorenje make the fastest spinning machines with one model at 2000RPM. Secondly Siemens, Bosch, AEG, Zanussi, Gorenje and Miele machines all vibrate far less than LG machines, solid floor or not. You only need to watch the other vids here to see that.

  • Direct drive has issues, try a concrete pas or vibration pads

  • This is typically for LG...

Throw it away and buy a Miele or Bosch/Siemens...

  • obviuosly, balance problems and / or parts of a bra within the outer drum causing these banging noises. YOu'd better get it fixed.

  • I don't like LG washing machines

  • for christ sake! i would have taken a sledge hammer and slammed that thing!
