I generally take a dim view of the trapping techniques of Wing Chun, Tai Chi and Kali as I do not believe they work well in actual fights against even skilled boxers or wrestlers. However, your demonstration of the outside trapping techniques could actually work. The inside trapping techniques I believe would work better when combined with clinching techniques as seen in MMA or executed with the neck grabbing techniques of Muay Thai.
@ledrox looking to trap, it's a good way of getting your teet knocked out. I think, you should block and attack, whether by hammer fist or palm strike, punch or kick... but if an opponent then tries to smother your attack and opportunity for a trap presents itself, t should happen naturally. A boxer needs to get in punching range, so as a martial artist, stay on the outside... but on the inside close the punching range and use short elbow attacks. Boxers need space for leverage, so smother him
i do gulao as well as traditional wing chun. good show. nice to see different footage of wing chun.

Whaz up with this pony tail punk cliché look? I know Emin Bozetepe started this punkish look for Leung Thug Wing Tsun in the 80s but this is the NEXT CENTURY! Oh, never mind, the Chinese are decades behind! Brah ha ha ha! Talk about the lost art of Wing Chun. Even the mainland Chinese have lost it! The Cultural Revolution ruined everything! Sad! =(
yeah! Emin started people wearing ponytails...and...what the fuck is punk about a ponytail?? he just looks like a guy with a ponytail. you're a moron. either that or everyone that has a ponytail is copying Emin Bozetepe and trying to look like a cliche punk.

Definitely not Kulo Wing Chun! Trying to mix two VERY different kinds of wing chun will only get you Mongrel Kung Fu.
