I really love this scene, you have to feel for poor Kate pouring them beer despite that there a bunch of homicidal maniacs who would eat your face given the chance. The really interesting thing about this is this is better than most CGI in films today. It might all be puppets but you can tell the creators have so much damn effort in making them look real and act real and it pays off because they are scary on so many levels.

that was one of the things i alwasy liked about gremlins, even as a kid: creatures of darkness...that are weak agenst light. and the brighter the light, the greater there pain, hell the sun can even kill them for crying out loud!
