  • I love the chemistry between them

  • Why can't anyone upload the whole clip!?!?!?

  • lol, maybe it's just me, but watching this scene faintly reminds me of JD and Turk from scrubs...if they were a little bit more badass. XD

  • rorschach looks kinda cute (nohomo) in this scene, almost like a kid.

  • Rorschach is so cute, i want to hug him!!

  • dude... he wulda pulled a burger king on you too if you tried anything funny

  • SQUEEEEEEEEEE!

  • I wonder how Rorschach would react to that...

  • damn they shouldve made out. LOL jk

  • Wasn't Rorschach the one who apoligised in the comic?

  • Both Dan and Rorschach apologize for different things in this scene in both the comic and the movie. Rorschach saying "I'm sorry that it is sometimes difficult" is cut out of this clip, but it's definitely there.

  • No, they both do. Daniel says without facing Rorschach that he shouldn't have said what he just said. Then Rorschach says, "Daniel, you are a good friend. I am sorry that it is sometimes difficult." Daniel looks awkward and says to forget it.

  • Yeah, one thing I like about Rorschach is that even though he is very narrow-minded, sees everything in black and white, and constantly points out the faults of people around him, he still is able to judge a person based on their merits and not their views. Even though his views are much different than that of Daniel's, he still considers him to be a good person and a good friend.

  • Read the graphic novel first. Criticise the movie then.

  • IDD

  • I would like to get my hands on it for sure.

  • Rorschach's awsome! XD he can be difficult all he wants XP

  • please tell me there's about 5 seconds more of rorschach holding daniel's hand ... because i totally live for that moment in the book, where rorschach's still holding his hand and daniel's finally like, "uhh ... well ... anyways ..."

  • there is

  • (SPOILERS)

I recently saw Watchmen, and I have to say it was very confusing... Didn't really get the plot, splendid visuals, though. Rorschach was AMAZING! Most Dr. Manhattan scenes were good e.g. the cancer scene, the violence was sickening (but awesome), The Night Owl/Silk Spectre sex scene was horribly akward, too much politics , movie was also a bit long.

IMO it's got both good and bad scenes, sort of 50/50 but I expected something different. Then again, I haven't read the graphic novel

  • Haha, I think they should've man-hugged at the end instead of the handshake. Then again, the handshake was in the comic. Their friendship is so akward. <3

  • Rorschach is awesome best hero ever

  • <3<3

  • This is my favorite movie. Its really dead on to the graphic novel.

  • Does the inkblot mask move and change to illustrate his mood like in the comi- Graphic Novel?

  • Yes. Rorschach is about as powerful an image as the Grim Reaper.

  • This guy is one of the reasons why I want to watch this movie

  • I love the sort of friemdship between Rorschach and nite owl

  • best quality on vioku. com good movie!

  • This is one of my favorite scenes.

  • that pretty cool

  • House and Wilson much?

  • Rorschach is so small, it's cute. I couldn't take him seriously if I met him in the street. Him and the Comedian are my favorite.

  • lol i second that!

  • Spoil shit much?

  • learn not to read shit much?

  • Fucking ay! Ide love to have a beer with both of em.

  • Haha Rorschach wouldn't drink it..

  • He'd probably think it was poisoned. XP I love Rorschach

  • Yeah, his tiny-ness is very cute. :D

  • You wouldn't take someone seriously because of their height? I wish you knew how annoying that is. It's akin to someone not taking you seriously because you're a girl.

  • I was joking. No need to get angry about it.

  • yeah, true Rorschach is small, but man he can beat the shit out of ANYONE!......errr except for dr.Manhattan sadly :( but i still wouldn't wanna mess with him.

  • then howd he get beat up by veidt?

  • well they are old now.they would be losing their confidence in fighting.but they are still on the case.

  • yah ur right

  • thanx :)

  • becouse veidt is fast enough to catch a bullet and also smartest man in the world. He is prolly the best vigilante of them all if you don't count Dr. Manhattan

  • this was an amazing film!

i totally recommend this to any die heard comic fan!

infact i recommend it to anyone!

    brilliant!

  • love that scene especially in the book it rlly shows how much of a good person rorschach is. a bad ass in true form :)

  • So true! ^-^ He's a great guy

  • Dan = Wilson

    Rorschach = House

    FFFFFFFF

  • hahahahaha yes :D now who would dr manhattan be? XD

  • XD That's exactly what my sister said when I was explaining the characters to her.

  • Oh no I have a feeling someone is gonna do a god damn brokeback watchmen video.

  • lol, i can see it now

  • Lol :-)

    Would be funny though!

  • you're ignorant... you ever meet a guy withthat voice, you run. you don't stop to talk...you RUN!

  • Both have really good acting.

  • or just go with a friend that can be considered ur "guardian". then its easy and the film gets the money the way it should be. and rorschach is supposed to be a dark guy with a different additude and voice, so stop fukin freaking out. i dont think comic books talk, he could have a normal voice and ud probably be bitching about that too.

  • no it is raspy. the word bubble is all scrathy. look at it. that means it's a raspy voice. so yes this is what he is suposed to sound like. this is how i use to read it. in that voice. that's how alan moore reads it.

  • why. we would liek to know why it is a boo. it is just like the comic. why a boo. do you not like comic books...WHY!

  • anti heroes have the rasp so people can't figure out who it is. that's why batman was critized in the begining because it was so easy to tell it was bruce wayne mouths and voice from the original movies. same thing would apply to Rorschach.

  • watch moore's reading it sounded somewat like that and this is the closest they could get with the acter looking like him. They started this before Batman came out

  • It's the way he was intended to sound.

  • I can assure u guys, this clip is shortened, the words will be said exactly like in the book. Jackie totally made his greatest come back in Hollywood, and hope he gets nominated for this role in the oscars, we will see.....hurm

  • I really wish they would have kept the line when Nite Owl says "Do you know how hard it is, being your friend." And Rorschach responding, "You are...a good friend...I am sorry...that it is sometimes difficult." That scene was actually really touching in the graphic novel.

But this scene still captures the emotion of it.

  • this was probably cut and shortened

  • I dunno...this whole scene was one shot.

  • It's a 2 and a half hour movie with 14.5 minutes to cover the content of an issue. I'd say that it's a pretty tough squeeze to fit that much story in.

  • Yeah they should have kept it. And Rorschach reacting to it and getting off his seat wasn't a good idea. I always got the impression he was compltely oblivious to peoeples reactions to his behavior (as the reactions were happening, later maybe he noticed).

  • no it was a good idea. it should he wasn't so insane. plus it was his best friend saying it. this was a good idea for the part in the comic

  • hd is awesome

loved the novel, looking forward to this, even if it is an 18 so i wont be able to see it in cinema

    >:(

  • Just sneak in, dude. When I was a teen, I snuck into R rated movies all the time.

It's simple. Buy a ticket to another film, then sneak in. Just don't go on opening weekend, because there will be high security. Go on a weekday, or a week later or something.

  • hell yeah high security on opening night! when i snuck into Friday the 13th, it was so packed that security didnt bother to check peoples tickets it would take too long

  • I'm glad Rorschach is as short as he's supposed to be.

  • Absolutely. And that's because the most physically perfect actor to play him--Haley--had his "comeback" happen at just the right time.

  • u should be sad becouse nite owl is not as FAT as he should be lol!

  • Dan: ...And nobody complains because they think you're a damn Lunatic!

    Rorschach:...................ow. *sad face*

  • As if we hadn't enough Dan/Rorschach fanfictions already...

I wish the Footage included the awkward moment as well.

  • That's exactly what I was thinking!

I seriously thought Rorscach was about to say:

    "Daniel,--I love you."

  • now this is great in HD

  • Hey totally random thought, but out of the "fanboys" and "fangirls" of Watchmen, having read ample discussions taking place in different places, online and off, it seems like the "fangirls" are far more accepting of the movie. Just an observation.

  • Most of the fangirls I know were talked into reading it by fanboys and haven't waited so many years.

My best friend who I finally got to read the book (She has a vendetta against Alan Moore) still doesn't like the changes but enjoys the style. She really dug this scene, since she posts Rorschach/Dan slash fiction and art. :D

  • There´s slash?! Oh, dear fucking Christ...

  • I hope Alan Moore kills her in while she sleeps

  • hahaha! Awesome

  • Comment removed

  • No, I think R´s always the shortest guy in the room...

  • rorschach wears lifts.

  • I like how Rorschach's mask seems to form a shocked expression when Dan starts yelling at him. Then when he says "Daniel...you are...a good friend" you see the black part around his eyes run downwards like tears.

  • It's still looking like it's going to be fantastic....

  • I don`t know about anyone else, but my eyes teared up at the end...

  • No, of course not. Don't be silly....*sniffle*

  • I don't see this scene as touching. Even in the comic this part was obscure and awkward. It wasn't uncomfortable or anything but the chemistry between these two characters was very bizzare. I'm not sure if this clip has been cut down but it really doesnt catch what the comic had. Not having it take place under water kind of takes away the lonliness and insecurity of the scene.

  • He's like a terrier or something.

  • I'm glad Rorschach is as short as he's supposed to be.

  • this part of the graphic novel is so moving! im so glad they seem to have kept that emotion! I can't wait to see the full length version of this scene. they were both perfectly casted!

  • Jesus god. If you have read the comic, you know how touching this part is. I am in tears.....

  • excellent.

  • this exchange between dan and rorshach is seriously one of the most touching parts of the books.

  • Look upon these works and do not despair; for this movie delivers.
