sorry, but the US iPhone 3G will be 100% unlocked. If you buy the "unlocked" version in any AT&T store you will find out that it only works with AT&T SIMs. Sorry :(

They recently changed it. It's 199 or 299 for the 8 and 16GB for customers who are due for an upgrade or who currently have the iphone. If you're not dude for an upgrade, you;'d have to pay 399 and 499 for the 8 and 16GB. Ofcourse plus tax. In New York, you'd be paying between about 30 and 50 dollars in tax depending on which one you get. Also, for a commitment free contract, it would be 599 and 699 for the 8 and 16
