This is a satanic message. You have to complete Acts 2:38 in order to be saved. When the bible says believe or call on the lord is a summary of salvation. Jesus said john 3:5-8 be born of the water and spirit to enter into the kingdom. Mark 16:16 Jesus said believe and is baptized. James 2:19 The devils believe. So according to just believing the devils are saved. Therefore just saying I believe does not work.

I think the big misunderstanding comes from people thinking that "faith" and "belief" is a simple verbal profession of having such. If there is no evidence of that belief (deeds, upholding of the law), then there is no belief. By simply arguing that salvation does not come from works is willfully putting the cart before the horse and missing the point entirely. The evidence of faith... true faith, is deeds - ie: daily repentance, rejecting the world, loving your brothers, etc.
Yes, the Bible teaches that salvation is by faith alone, but how do you know you have faith? Faith without deeds is dead. John teaches in 1 John that we know we are in him if we obey is commandments. Hebrews also makes it pretty clear that salvation can be lost if we do not abide in him. Paul frequently teaches that being free from the law doesn't mean we are free to continue sinning... in fact, if we truly believe / commit to Jesus Christ, we then uphold the law.
James 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. The devils believe so therefore by the argument stated in this video devils are saved. No, devils are not saved yet they believe. Repentance leads to true belief which leads to obedience and baptism in Jesus name. They all work together.

And if you do not love Him, then why do you believe in Him? Many misconstrue the difference between doing what God asks of us as works salvation. If you love God, you will do what He asks, it's as simple as that. People can call it works salvation or whatever, but again if you love the Father, as His child you will do what He says. Let me reiterate, works alone cannot save you, only faith can, but with true faith, naturally you should want to do good deeds in the name of the Lord.
Works cannot save you, only faith can. Only believing on the Lord Christ Jesus can save you. But the question is, how do you know you believe? The word "doeth" is a verb, it is an action word that needs action. Many will say this is works salvation, but many don't truly understand what Paul and James were talking about. A true saved Christian will bear fruit outwardly.

Pastor Anderson, there are many scripture that refute your teaching. I can tell you have a zeal for God but not according to His Righteousness. The righteousness of God does come by faith through grace. Believing is doing the Word of God and what God has required for salvation. One work of faith... (JAM 2:22 You see that faith was working with his works, and as a result of the works, faith was perfected;)...that we must do to be saved is as the bible says, we must repent and be baptized

In acts 2 we see the day of PENTECOST( this is why you're called pentecostal) when the Holy Ghost was first shed out on everyone. Anyone after this had to receive the Holy Ghost by evidence of tongues for.. No one after the day of Pentecost was ever recorded saved without receiving the Holy Ghost.

1) It is a gift because Jesus paid for it with His blood! He paid for it by dying on the cross.
2) It is eternal life after death from this world. The Bible does not say or mean that you will eternally have eternal life...you are twisting the Holy Word of God!

I'm definitely not atheist or anything, I just honestly don't think what your doing is right, either. I don't go to church every Sunday, nor do I believe in everything in the bible says, but I've still accepted the Lord into my heart and that's the part that matters to me. Scripture says that blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is the only unforgivable sin. . But touching baptism, Jesus said in mark 16;16 he that believeth and is baptized shall be saved.. He also used the jailer in acts 16;31, that verse says to believe in the Lord and you shall be saved and your household, so trinitarians believe that when One is saved their whole household is saved also? No! To believe in Jesus means if the word tells us to live a certain way or to be baptized or anything, those who believe in him obey him. Second, salvation is individual not by groups.

That guy never said that you must be baptized to be saved but you went on for a while trying to prove to him that you don't have to be baptized as if he said that you do have to be baptized. John 6:47 is present tense for the whole verse. it says that he that believes (present tense) on me has (present tense) eternal life. It doesn't say that if you believed on Jesus 5 years ago but not anymore you still have eternal life.
Way to go trying to convert a Christian by trying to show him that he really isn't a Christian because he is an attender of and Assembly of God church and doesn't believe in once saved always saved. That is definitely what Jesus wants us to do.
Again, Paul warns about falling away from God after becoming saved in Hebrews chapters 5 and 6. Also the original meaning of believe included obeying the one you believe in and so we must also obey Christ in all we do.

I think the big misunderstanding comes from people thinking that "faith" and "belief" is a simple verbal profession of having such. If there is no evidence of that belief (deeds, upholding of the law), then there is no belief. By simply arguing that salvation does not come from works is willfully putting the cart before the horse and missing the point entirely. The evidence of faith... true faith, is deeds - ie: daily repentance, rejecting the world, loving your brothers, etc.

Yes, the Bible teaches that salvation is by faith alone, but how do you know you have faith? Faith without deeds is dead. John teaches in 1 John that we know we are in him if we obey is commandments. Hebrews also makes it pretty clear that salvation can be lost if we do not abide in him. Paul frequently teaches that being free from the law doesn't mean we are free to continue sinning... in fact, if we truly believe / commit to Jesus Christ, we then uphold the law.

The word "doeth" is a verb, it is an action word that needs action. Many will say this is works salvation, but many don't truly understand what Paul and James were talking about. A true saved Christian will bear fruit outwardly.

Lucifer cannot believe in Jesus and His blood sacrifice for salvation because Satan is not flesh and blood as we are. The blood that was shed is for the sins of mankind. The devils may believe, but they are not trusting in Jesus Christ to save them. That would do nothing for them.

Also, I am a pentecostal and I believe one cannot lose his or her salvation if you truly believed on the Lord Jesus Christ in the first place. See the Lord's words in John 10:28, "And I give unto them eternal life; and they never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand" if God has called you, you can never lose your salvation you are predestined to be a part of his kingdom period. In acts 2 we see the day of PENTECOST( this is why you're called pentecostal) when the Holy Ghost was first shed out on everyone. 1) It is a gift because Jesus paid for it with His blood! He paid for it by dying on the cross.
2) It is eternal life after death from this world. The Bible does not say or mean that you will eternally have eternal life...you are twisting the Holy Word of God!

Scripture says that blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is the only unforgivable sin. . But touching baptism, Jesus said in mark 16;16 he that believeth and is baptized shall be saved.. He also used the jailer in acts 16;31, that verse says to believe in the Lord and you shall be saved and your household, so trinitarians believe that when One is saved their whole household is saved also? No! To believe in Jesus means if the word tells us to live a certain way or to be baptized or anything, those who believe in him obey him. Second, salvation is individual not by groups.

That guy never said that you must be baptized to be saved but you went on for a while trying to prove to him that you don't have to be baptized as if he said that you do have to be baptized. John 6:47 is present tense for the whole verse. it says that he that believes (present tense) on me has (present tense) eternal life. It doesn't say that if you believed on Jesus 5 years ago but not anymore you still have eternal life.

Nope the body of Christ does not have many denominations! NOT IN THE BIBLE! There is only One church and that church and its teaching started on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:38-47 = Mat 16:18) and if your not teaching the apostles doctrine then your not in the boat!

The most miss understood scripture in the bible!
Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
{-Not of works-}} lest any man should boast.
WORKS in this passage is not referring to Christ commandments and law concerning Christan salvation and conduct! BUT IS REFERRING TO THE OT LAWS OF JUDAISM!
Rom 9:32 Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the {{-works of the law-}} For they stumbled at that stumbling stone!

Another thing! I came from all the four square churches and the anything goes church where if you just believe in the Christmas story and you can spell the name Jesus your saved! BOLOGNA! These church has no holiness in the church in ones hart or appearance and the ladies dress like whores and all the trash of the world goes on in these church! Fornication, adultery, drinking alcohol, even drugs! I sold pot to my baptist pastor!

What the false preachers forget to tell them is: REPENTANCE always follows true saving FAITH. If you don't repent, you don't really believe... @Iesous238 I'm not exactly sure how all that has to do with other denominations being a part of the body of Christ. Many people who believe in Spiritual Gifts love Jesus with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength, and follow the model Jesus gave us for ministry, as well as the early church. This so called pastor hates people, and prays for the death of obama...all I am saying, follow the Jesus model. He is following something of the opposite.

In regards to other denominations being apart of the body of Christ is not the Case! In reality there is only ONE church that JESUS built upon A rock which Christ gave the keys to Peter! Mat 16:18-19.. Acts 2:38-47. We are not saved by joining a church (body of Christ) We are born into the body of Christ (Jh 3:5) and not by membership! There is many false churches today that teach trash and not the apostles doctrine! Acts 2:42, Heb 6th, Eph 2:19-20. The catholic church is a heresy.

However, churches that do not practice the works of Jesus and the early apostles, are missing a huge part of what God has commanded us to do....the charismatic churches are the closest to the biblical model that Jesus gave us. I am not saying they are all correct, and there are perversions in that area, but a greater perversion is to say that they are demonic for doing what God told us to do.

As you stated IF A church is not practicing what the early church did! (apostles doctrine Acts 2:38-47, Eph 2:20, Heb 6:1-7) Then they are not teaching the truth! They are under a curse (Gal 1:6-12) And yes SOME NOT ALL Charismatic church are closer to the truth than others! A lot of Charismatic church practice spiritualism!

Dear friend don't think for one minute that a church can just make things up as they go along and think God excepts that! If just being apart of a church is good enough then the WORD of God would have not warned us about FALSE TEACHERS and prophets teaching damned heresy! If a church does not line up to the word of God it is a damned heresy! Mormons, Jehovah witness, Scientology, Masons, Catholic, Universal Unitarianism, etc along with other well known churches that do not teach truth.
