I felt that T.I. & Nelly did a great job but I do with they would have had KRS-One, Immortal Technique, Andre 3000, Common, Rakim, Dr Dyson, Russell Simmons & Rev Run. I repeat, T.I. & Nelly did great but I would have wished to hear from the people I mention in regards to this subject. I do wish that they would have replaced Nelly with Snoop or Jadakiss though. I know im a get some disagrees but i think the main reason why black people are in the way that they are today is because they left the church home. If you notice in the 70s and on back, Black people was in church alot. Then you got 1980s to now. The black comunity was slowly parting from God and i feel that is the main reason why blacks are doing so bad right now. Same goes for America. You take out god and look what happens. Christianity was actually forced on slaves but their massa, and according to the massa, blacks were natural salvages and required Christianity in order to tame their wild nature. The problem is not religion, it is the social and economic level of a community that is the major factor.
The poorer an individual is, the more likely they are to be violent. Religion has no correlation in regards to blacks in America.

I don't think this debate is even about Hip Hop, because they've been talking to rappers like 50 Cent and Nelly. I don't even think that Nelly and 50 Cent are even in the genre of Hip Hop. Hip Hop means more than just rhyming over a beat. REAL Hip Hop has meaning, and I don't think they should blame the entire genre just because of the music from this decade, because most of the Hip Hop from this decade isn't real.
