@OrganicTastesBetter I see where you're coming from, but if Marth was not in Melee I would likely have never played Fire Emblem. Also, even though I've never played F-Zero, Captain Falcon has become one of my favourite characters in Smash Bros.

Also, you're very wrong about Metal Gear Solid. The game was ported to the Gamecube, and the series has appeared on the PS, PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, PSP and 3DS. The Metal Gear series has also appeared on the NES. Isaac is great, but get off Snake's case.

Because, before the SSB series, I had never played a Fire Emblem, a Metroid game, a LoZ game, a Mother game, a F-Zero game and many other Nintendo series. And many of those series are my favorite of all time (Super Metroid currently classed as my ultimate videogame).

1: bahamut, tiamat, these are all just names of powerful mythological dragons. just means its a tough, important, or unique dragon.

2: at best, i know a above avrege amount of mythology, but, i think, shiva, or ifrit, or them, are acually original, if i saw, "ifrit" then yeah, i would compare the two games.

and 3:unlike ff, you PLAY the game, instead of watch a insane amount of cutscenes, with some gameplay in between. ff13 has SETS of moves, no choises at all.

Also Tiamat depicted as a dragon is a purely modern thing, originally Tiamat was basically described as something monstrous, basically an embodiment of chaos.

I think the final smash for Isaac would be Ragnarok or Odyssey, being those are what most of the players remember using as his main 1v1 psynergy. Megiddo wasn't obtained (with the Sol blade) until late in the 2nd game.

But if they add either one, they need to make the djinni similar to the Pokemon that are item based. I think that would be pretty cool. Or at least make a Djinni unleash one of their non-standard attacks.

@rexana I would honestly think Judgement is more suiting. Megiddo is cool, don't get me wrong but Judgement is Isaac's final "pure" summon (as in it's the last summon that requires only Earth Djinn, Save for Gaia, Ramses and Earth Djinn). Imagine Judgement flying to the area where Isaac is fighting and unleashing his cannon on the field. Wiping out everyone else save for Isaac.
