but its a COOOL car buy it ;) its fast for just 180 Hp
The valve job will actually cause the engine to run c/leaner and thus last longer. Also, idle should improve, judging from the sound of this engine :-)
Agreed. Mine almost sounds the same (M110 '80, 127000km) but I need to adjust valves in a few months. Makes the engine sound raw, although the pure beauty of sound lays in high speeds on motorways.
But even without checking the valves, this engine will last as long as a diesel, so why not sound like one....

This M110 engine seriously needs a valve-job, to stop it sounding like an old diesel-taxi.
