I feel a bit sorry about those kid,s thinking farming is romantic,About Mariposa farm well i see many time his ad at work-zone so i come those kid,s are working free while other getting paid!Capitalist like me enjoy those cherry-mind kind of thinking if you like,i work at a ranch in the same town and while i was getting paid a young christian fellow was not and when he learn my wage he was very surprise, ololol,i admire the will of Mat but i learn farming like him and get paid at the same time.
Actually, wwoofing is different than traveling. WWOOF is an organisation. You pay to join and get contact information for WWOOF host farms. Then you contact a farm you want to work on and go and work there. You don't get paid money - but get food and accommodation provided.
As for the lighting - scary eh. I think the height was wrong (too low). Also, doing it during the day with no curtains is not so good ... ahh now I really appreciate the big stuido in Niseko...
thats awsome, but,,I gotta ask man, if you dont get paid how do you afford to travel from location to location?
