the drummer's got an awesome groove but i don't think you need all of that for this song, just keep it smooth and in the pocket but that's how they wanted him to play it so i'm not hating.

Awesome Benny. Keep doing your thing bro! Obviously some of these cats havent heard Mint Conditions live version of this song. I love this song and I think in a live setting it deserves to be overplayed. There is soo much space in the verses. Ok. If you feel like Bennie, then,perhaps you're unfamiliar with this arrangement of the song which happens to be more of a drum feature. Check out the "Live from the 9:30 Club" DVD. They don't play it the original way. It's a busy arrangement. Props to Bennie for honoring the arrangement.
