  • omg thank you so much!!!!!

  • my ipod is stuck on the apple when you get out of dfu mode what should I do?

  • @rayofvictory so DFU is just restoring it?

  • hey i tried doing wat u sed, but it still says that it cannot b restored there is an error.. wa can i do nw??

  • @10xjayx Send me a message, lets fix it via a remote session.

  • lol ok tar ill try that xx

  • i jus brought this phone.. and by rebooting is there any risk of loosing the data on pc?? and i already have the latest version of itunes x

  • @10xjayx By rebooting, I meant restarting your computer (Start menu -> Shutdown/Restart). You won't lose any data. Once you reboot, try this - unplug your iPhone from your PC, turn the iPhone off by holding the power button (if you don't see anything, thats fine, if you see slide to power off, then power it off). Now hold the home button (the screen should be blank, display nothing) and plug the iPhone to your PC. The restore mode should kick in (the one with cable on the screen). Now restore.

  • i tried to update it

  • @10xjayx Ok, if you are not interested in preserving baseband or jailbreaking/unlocking - then I would make sure I have the latest version of iTunes. Reboot the Windows 7 machine and then try updating it. (Hope you had a backup previously).

  • its iphone 4 and got windows 7

  • @10xjayx Do you remember how it got into the recovery mode? Was it while trying to jailbreak or trying to update to latest iOS via iTunes?

  • How to get in DFU:

    1. Plug your iDevice via USB into the computer

    2. Power off your iDevice

    3. Hold the Power and Home buttons for 10 seconds

    4. Release the Power button but keep holding the Home button until your computer recognizes your iDevice

Note: iTunes may say that your iDevice is in Recovery Mode. No, if your iDevice's screen is completely black, that means that it is in DFU mode.

How to get out of DFU:

    1. While you are in DFU mode, hold the Power and Home buttons for 10 seconds.

  • @maraxani Sorry sir, you are wrong.

  • @rayofvictory that is Recovery Mode. If you want to take the phone in DFU is simple. 1 . Push the power button for 2 sec. 2 . Push the home buton too (dont realese the power buton ) for 10 sec . 3 . Relese all the butons after 20 sec :) Have fun !

  • @rayofvictory No Sir, YOU are wrong. DFU mode does not show any image on screen.

The whole video nearing 10 mins just adds insult to injury. OMG!!

  • @rayofvictory No Sir, YOU are wrong. DFU mode does not show any image on screen.

The whole video nearing 10 mins just adds insult to injury. OMG!!

  • @maraxani its the same thing dumbass.....

  • @maraxani lol your totally wrong, recovery is the connect to itunes screen

  • @maraxani You wrong and you are the idiot!!!!

    Thanks @rayofvictory!!!

  • @maraxani YOU are the idiot WTF is this white screen?? LAME, don't talk when you don't know this is exactly DFU mode!!

  • @maraxani You actually are wrong.

Rayofvictory - you are wrong as well. That is recovery mode. DFU mode, on the other hand, will have a black screen once successfully done. I've had an iPhone since the 3G model and have been jailbreaking ever since. I'm 100% sure that I'm correct. Rename your video or delete it.

  • @marax

  • @maraxani It clearly goes to show you have no idea what you are talking about. Everything the dude says in his vid is very accurate and totally true. If you see a white screen then you have major problems lmao..

  • thanks dude i appreciate it :)
