@priorzola He should have been much smarter he did a dumb move but what the crew did was awful. Do you realize how hot those lights are? The kid must have been in pain. They should of waited for the police to come and get the lights turned off. The group was obviously trying to get attention but the reaction they got was not right. You don't torture people to leave on public property.
Priorzola the man in the video was attacked by seven staff members of Jimmy Kimmel Live. Jimmy Kimmel knows that when he places these lights out in the public and shines them on people they might become irritated. In order to more easily deal with the people that are irritated by these lights Jimmy Kimmel hires private security in order to protect himself, his staff and his property. The seven people attacking the man in the video are not private secruity hired by Jimmy Kimmel.
@Snagggged after he COMMITED A CRIME against property. Why are you so hell bent on defending criminal behavior but avoid addressing the law. Spare me your fake moral outrage. it' even more ridiculous than these clowns who like to use their own intimidation tactics (like calling people TORTURERS) and hide behind children as human shields for their own self-created confrontations. His crew had a PERMIT to film. FILMING requires bright lights. Show me the protestors PERMIT and INJURED CHILDREN.
Priorzola I do know "the law" and in the fine print of that permit that JImmy Kimmel asks for it states clearly that during the operations Jimmy Kimmel Studios will provide private security on sight to insure the safety of staff members and the public. The person punching, kicking, shoving, yelling at the man with the phone is not certified to do so and that is why you can sue Jimmy Kill production, ABC and Walt Disney Studios.
Omg.....ASSAULT,,,,ASSAULT....Are you kidding me?? Has this Country got to the point that every little thing becomes assault?? It really doesn't matter to me who these people are on either side, but pointing that bright light on people during the daytime is asking for problems. The bottom line is there were 6 Police Officers there who could of been doing some real crime fighting instead of dealing with CHILDREN......pathetic.
they should have left the spotline on those losers..... listen to those crybabies....right to lifers love picking on other people but when the tables are turned.. cry baby cry....
@Snagggged, sorry tool, not only are the fake right to lifers who have been known to use their own intimidation tactics full of shit, in general, but they're cry babies when someone uses their own tactics against them and they break the law to enforce their own justice (just like "right to life' doctor killers like to do). You have a right to your own opinion but you don't have a right to your own facts. FACT IS property was assaulted by a person in NO IMMEDIATE DANGER.
Priorzola the video clearly shows up to ten Jimmy Kimmel production staff attacking this person once he makes an attempt to remove the light from his eyes. Only after they forcibly remove him from the area do they turn the lights off. This entire episode is indecent all parties are guilty of behaving immoraly but the fact remains the JImmy Kimmel production staff assaulted and attacked the man in the video.
@Snagggged, it shows people removing him from tampering with PRIVATE PROPERTY (that probably costs more than his mobile home) when he was REPEATEDLY asked to not touch it. In the same VIDEO some whiny woman operating a $50 Best buy camera was bitching about people touching her property while she was ENCOURAGING someone else to do the very same thing. Again, you don't know the LAW but, as the arrested party's shirt says, INTOLERANCE IS A BEAUTIFUL THING and it goes both ways.
@priorzola But the lights were used to assault the protesters, so to compare the tampering of the lights to touching the woman's camera are not the same thing.
@JohnnyOU08, that's a separate matter. The man who attacked the property was not being assaulted and this video shows no injuries caused by the lights (and if there were, they would be featured as this is a propaganda ploy by the fake right to lifers to play the victim card by infusing Jimmy Kimmel into their hypocritical agenda). If they are GODLY PEOPLE who love everybody, they wouldn't attack others or their property when they were in no immediate danger.
@priorzola I'm not sure how you can tell from the video if the man was having the lights directed at him or not. And the fact that no one got hurt doesn't make a difference--I could blow an air horn in your ear, which probably wouldn't do any permanent damage, but nonetheless I would have no right to do it. I know pro-lifers are annoying and easy to make fun of, but it doesn't give people the right to interrupt a peaceful protest. Supporting free speech means supporting speech you don't like.
They were asked several times to move the light off the people standing three feet away. They did not provide the people they were shinning the light on with protective eye equiptment, however the JImmy Kimmel staff all wore protective eye equiptment. This episode is entirely indecent proven by the fact that the Jimmy Kimmel production staff moved the spot light only after the police told them to do so, you should sue.
@Snagggged, again that's ZERO JUSTIFICATION for attempted property damage. If you feel your constitutional rights and safety are being infringed upon, call the cops. As happens there were cops on hand but these people did nothing (other than taunt the film crew and call them torturers). The man on the phone who did the damage, was in no immediate danger and was plotting the damage beforehand (thus he was arrested). These are the FACTS not HYPERBOLE about "torture" and "death ray burns".
@Snagggged, and the PERSON who called the police and the PERSON who attacked the property (if they were indeed the same person) were in no immediate danger at the time of the assault. You can't call the police and then (when in not any danger) decide they're not acting face enough for your liking and take matters into your own hands. Just keep digging your cry baby hole and show you know less and less about how the LAW works to justify your BS position. NO ONE was shown to be injured. PERIOD.
ok these people are clearly stupid he touched his property demanding like if it was his? first amendment is freedom of speech not to touch and do whatever they want with other people property lol. Cop did the right thing :)
@DeReCk120 If someone assaults you with an object you have the right as a citizen of the united states to defend yourself. Shinning that gigantic light into someones eyes on a very hot July day is paramount to torture. This state of California is not the back drop to JImmy Kimmel studios and the public of California should not be treated poorly by JImmy Kimmel studios. After a violent altercation Jimmy Kimmel studios removed the large spotlight.
@Snagggged, not only are you clueless about the law but you're clueless about what torture really is. if there was TORTURE where are the ambulances? Where were the BURN VICTIMS? They weren't any. The man in question wasn't even being ASSAULTED, he was on the PHONE telling a friend how he was about to destroy property. The STATE OF CALIFORNIA allows filming permits just like they allow protesting permits. These people were casting insults thru out the video that led to an ASSAULT on property.
i wonder what Jimmy will have to say about this. Seems like everybody on here is jumping to conclusions but nobody really knows the full story except for the people there. Im interested to see how the story unravels and reveals the truth.
When Jimmy Kimmel assaults you with a Spot Light you have the right to stop him from doing so. No matter what JImmy Kimmel production staff may lead you to believe but when you are assaulted with a spot light you can move the spot light off of you, this is your right. When they assault you with the spot light they do so understanding you might retaliate against them, this is why they ask you (the public) for a permit.
Dear DeReCk120 Jimmy Kimmel studios intended to do bodily harm to these people they told to stand on this line using large electrcal bright spot lights, three focused within ten feet. Any normal human being would not only react to being treated so poorly on a hot day but should be helped medcaly after this.
I;m sorry but your not allowed to touch others property. and they can do what every they want on public areas. If you don't like it move. you can't sit there and shout out your rights while your invading others. just like when you can defend yourself against someone who may be potentially dangerous, you can defend your property against someone how is going to be potentially dangerous. I'm tired of people thinking they are the only people with first amendment rights.
The crew would've had to get a permit to film. They thus had full right to be there. If the spotlight bothered you that much, you should've moved down the street. You had zero right to tamper with their equipment and sabotage their shoot. Screaming "Assault! Assault!" only proves you have a serious persecution complex, because any reasonable person who watches this video won't see violence, but a film crew trying to stop someone who is damaging their private property.
The people in the line were told to stand there by the Jimmy Kimmel production staff. The Jimmy Kimmel production staff then focused high intensity spot lights on the people in the line, this is a hazard and is dangerous. The legal staff of JImmy Kimmel production knows that they cannot do this to do people.
@innerJAG, and you might as well go to the cops who are standing RIGHT THERE instead of calling a friend and telling them how you are going to JACK UP PROPERTY. Sorry tool, he broke the law when he took the law in his own hands. And there was no INJURY (other than to pride) because those injuries would be featured on this piss poor propaganda tool of a video. There were NO AMBULANCES or attempts to contact police. Just brutish behavior that resulted rightfully in an arrest.
@Snagggged, these aren't people in a LINE, they are protesters who didn't want to share public space with others (who had a permit to film) so they played the victim when their own harassment (which continues in this video with taunts and attempted vandalism) didn't work. it's what fake moral outrage wannabe Christians do when they don't get their way. Play the victim card when THEY break the law. The woman with the camera shows the hypocrisy plain: "don't touch me but breaking a LIGHT is ok."
Sue Jimmy Kimmel, sue ABC, sue walt disney. The production staff of Jimmy Kimmel cannot assault you. The Jimmy Kimmel staff cannot attack you. You have the right to expect to be treated decently and properly in the united states. In the end of this video the production staff moves the light off the child only after this enounter motivated them to do so. You have every right to sue them for anything you would want to.
@Snagggged, you have a right to protect your property as many of these fake Christian types who often like to tote guns around like to tell others. Sorry tool, you're defending CRIMINALS because the camera crew was blocking these people's little protest. There obviously were cops nearby and yet none of these tools felt compelled to take their issues up with them. The criminal even boasted on the phone that he was going to destroy property instead of calling the cops for ALLEGED injuries.
@priorzola I love it that you support torture. Did you give two thumbs up when Bush waterboarded the 911 terrorists? I'll bet you wet yourself when Bush did b/c you were so overjoyed.
@YoohTubee Well I live in Pasadena and I see this all the time I also lived in Florida didn't see it all the time maybe just when it was winter season and all the New York assholes came down. People looking for attention in these big cities looking for a fake cause instead of doing something productive.
@Odenkay, because they were FILMING and most professional filming is done with artificial light no matter what time of day. These tools make it seem like they simply brought the lights out to intimidate them instead of were already set up for a shoot. Listening to the assclown claim that they were being "tortured", it's clear that the protesters didn't like the fact that they had to SHARE public space with others and the SPOTLIGHT didn't include any camera coverage for their failing crusade.
the chick is fine with her fat friend touching property that is not hisss.....
"you are burning our people" who she thinks she is by saying that.... Nobody is her property and she also says "it's public property" wowwwwww... PUBLIC ??? are you serious? do you know how much ONE of this lights cost ???
its summer time in L.A and they got spot lights on them. I would be heated too. Whats the point for the spot lights? Those are some really hot lights. even when they are far away they make an actor sweat. Up close I can imagine they burn.
Im not saying the light hurt but i wouldnt want it on me either. Was that guy just trying to turn the light, if so there was no need for what happened.
@weezcake, it's just a case of fake moral outrage by a bunch of fake Christians who are trying to invoke Jimmy Kimmel's name into their little protest when they can't get any attention otherwise. These are tools who are used to doing all the intimating who are mad that someone else beat them at their own game. And instead of reporting the alleged intimidation or supposed harm done to the police who were standing nearby, they decide to attempt to destroy property instead. Does that explain it?
I love how some here equate trying to redirect the light to "destroying someone's property." What property would be destroyed had he succeeded in turning off the light or redirecting the beam?
@pantsdailyon, I love how some people here equate flashing a light on someone with scalding. Sorry tool but the women holding the camera was acting like her property was being destroyed when she was, in turn, advocationg for the very same thing to happen with the lights. Face it, when logic and facts aren't on the side of these fake Christians, they play the victim card instead.
This is what I love, the skank with the camera tells people not to touch her yet it's ok for her fat friend to go touch other peoples property......so completley stupid.
Wow that bitch yelling "dont touch me" needs to STFU. You were part of a group trying to destroy someone elses property and you have the nerve to complain? You morons were in the wrong here, not JK.
@PenultimateRun, or maybe they should sue "God" for creating the sun. This is just another example of the fake moral outrage wanna-be Christians playing the victim card when it is often them who are often victimizing others and using intimidation to get their point across. That's why that lardass had no qualms about walking up to private property and manhandling it. He'd do the same to a teenage girl at a woman's clinic if given the chance.
Abortion is murder and the US is committing a genocide and advocating genocide in the name of "choice". No one has the right to deny another human being their life. The TV crew provoked the incident on public property and they should have been arrested.
I think the guy yelling about getting burnt might be overreacting when he says they're burning his people, but I still think these lighting guys are total jerks for using these lights to try to intimidate a teenager who they disagree with by causing extreme discomfort (ridiculous brightness and at least a very very uncomfortable temperature).
Shining a light on someone may be uncomfortable, but the guy did not have the right to touch the light. It was dangerous and stupid. If they felt the person(s) controlling the light were doing something illegal or unsafe, they should have called the police, and the issue would have been resolved peacefully, one way or another. The guy had to take the law into his own hands, and wound up going to jail. Good.
@PenultimateRun Do you have some sort of mission to stand up for douchebags who are clearly in the wrong? Are you that much of a asswipe? Yeah, you are......
Where's your evidence that this group of protesters was doing any intimidation? Also, find me any pro-lifer who says it's okay to purposely take the life of any innocent person. I do wonder how serious it is to shine a couple of huge spotlights on a person a couple feet away from them. I'm not sure it's the sort of thing that would really harm someone seriously, but I'm pretty sure that it would be really hot. I've been on a stage with spotlights at a distance and it's still roasting.
@hanktzepeda, pro-lifers are notorious for intimidation tactics and this brite was INTIMIDATING the crew by man-handling their equipment illegally (which is why he was arrested). What's your evidence any child shield was burned? You have none. All I see is a person illegally tampering with expensive equipment and then some whiny woman bitching for having her $50 camera touched while she's encouraging a multi-thousand dollar light to be destroyed. Again, show the alleged burns or stop bitching.
@smcleod1990 If someone is assaulting you (blinding you with a huge light when you're just standing there) you most certainly do have the right to "touch somebody else property."
@xzxoxlx, actually you do not have the right to touch someone else's property and the fact that the police arrested him for his act of attempted vandalism proves that. There is no PROOF that any child was charred. Sorry, it's obvious that logic and the law is not on your side nor the protesters. So failing any logic, just play the victim card instead. Where's the "burnt" child shield? Why didn't the protestors complain to the police who were nearby instead of taking the law into their own hands?
@priorzola Actually, you're completely wrong. If someone is blasting a high power light into your face, you have the right to defend yourself. I don't care if a child was present or not, it's nothing to my argument.
@xzxoxlx. so spare me not only your warped logic by your failed comprehension of the law. If you knew anything about these kind of fake moral outrage groups, you'd know that INTIMIDATION and playing the victim is part of their MO. It's how they operate when they don't get the attention they want. If they truly felt assaulted by the lights instead of INSULTED that those lights didn't include cameras pointed at them and their demented crusade, they would have sought the police immediately.
@xzxoxlx actually, you do not. And there is NO PROOF that anyone was harmed in their protest group. Again, the very cops that were standing nearby that arrested the vandal could have been sought to address the bright "scalding" light "assault" but they weren't. The PERP was on the phone conspiring to "take the light down". He wasn't seeking to defend himself by the proper channels and he was in no immediate danger because he wasn't calling the cops or telling nearby authorities.
Typical Hollywood trash. Trying to silence anyone they disagree with. Who cares how much the light costs? If you start using it for intimidating kids into submission, don't complain if someone tries to turn it off.
@hanktzepeda I saw no little kid and if your kid is burning from lights that the film crew have every right to have set up then don't bring your children to a right-wing, loony, christian, terrorist, hate rally. BTW Of course there are camera crews with lights, IT'S HOLLYWOOD YOU IGNORANT DUMB FUCKS!
@hanktzepeda, typical fake Christian trash. Pretending that they are the intimated one when all these fake Christians do is use intimidation to try to make their failed point. These women haters posing as "pro-lifers" (who are never anywhere to be found at an anti-war or anti-capital punishment rally) always want to play the victim. If they really wanted to make their point, they would show the video of the child getting the alleged burns instead of the property tampering brute getting arrested/
@SignifyingDonkey ......The human skin starts to burn at 130 degrees F......A 6000 watt spotlight such as the one in this video can create temperatures up to 100 degrees F. So with outside temperature plus Spotlight what does that equal? or do you need me to do that for ya too? Do your research before you look like an idiot. Yea you got burned
@cswift84 A spotlight doesn't substantially add to the heat of an open area any more than dropping an ice cube in a swimming pool makes it colder. They're using their "6000" watt spotlight on their own actors. Do you think they're trying to burn their employers? Show me your research that says otherwise.
@SignifyingDonkey ..... well you see they dont usually use spotlight on "actors" when there only 10 feet away. There mostly used when the 'actors" are at a distance.Do you understand the difference? Or am i trying to explain this to a child?
@cswift84 No you're just sounding like you're a wanna-be and only wish you were in the film industry but in actuality you still live in your parents basement and you are pretending you know what you are talking about. Having worked in the film and entertainment for nearly 25 years I can say without the slightest bit of doubt, you are talking out of your ass. Oh SNAP!
@CrudelyAnimated .......LOL this is the same person with the username SignifyingDonkey.....WoW how pathetic. Do you have a high school education or GED. 25 years entertainment industry experience hahahahaha. Your a joke
@cswift84 lol, I love when posters run out of nonsense to spew and resort to name-calling. Yeah, I have a silly username. Poor me. I have an M.A. in education. I have 33 years entertainment experience. One time 4,000 people held up their lighters for an encore and I almost burst into flames from the heat.
Oh yeah, since you're so concerned about education, it's "you're" (short for "you are"), not "your." As in, you're a joke.
@SignifyingDonkey .......Well Donkey im getting off work so thanks for keeping me busy for 45 minutes. The bottom line is were all lame as fuck for wasting our lives commenting here on youtube. Cheers and have a positive life.
@cswift84, thanks for admitting that you've lost the argument. Go burn some child shields with your evil bright spotlights. In the end, these tools are mad that only the lights were turned on to their fake moral outrage crusades and not the cameras. They're looking for cheap publicity by using Jimmy Kimmel's name and pretending to play the victim. And tools like you feel for it.
@cswift84 What are you talking about? Do you not know how to read? My username is CrudelyAnimated, get it right dumb fuck. And yes, I have been told I am incredibly funny, so yes I am a joke...thanks for the compliment. Now lets look at your username cswift84. Is the 84 for the year your parents made their mistake or is it your IQ? You know an IQ of 70-85 is considered mentally retarded to slow, so since 84 falls into that general measurement of intelligence it would explain a lot.
@cswift84 Nonsense. Have you worked on a camera crew ever? If you had, you'd know that they use spotlights from all distances. They use them to elminate shadows that can come from all directions, and to insure that lighting conditions remain stable when shooting film or video. Do you understand the difference? Have you ever had a spotlight on you? I'm a 50 year old performer and have been under spotlights indoors and out. And I repeat, in 90F plus temperatures. Indoors and out! No burns!
@SignifyingDonkey .....You see the difference between acting under spotlights and being put under spotlight to cause discomfort is totally different. The man protesting is not acting. do you understand the difference or is your head really that far up.
@cswift84 The heat doesn't change due to intent- there's no settings on the spotlight for "put light on actor" or "cause discomfort" or "burn protester's skin off."
@SignifyingDonkey ....you see if you were to drop an ice cube into a pool that area would be a different temperature than the rest of the pool. Much the same if you were to shine a spotlight on someone 10 feet away that temperature would be different that his surroundings. Do you get it yet or have I already lost you. Its ok to ask questions because thats how people get smarter.
@cswift84 Ok, here's a question. What's your source data on how hot the beam from these spotlights is from 10/20/50 feet away? What kind of spotlights are they using? There's more than one kind, you know. I'm sure you know, since you know a lot of things. (Here's a hint - they're probably ERS spots - typically used outdoors, medium throw). Show me one person who's ever been burned from having a spotlight shone on them.
@SignifyingDonkey I'm pretty sure an 18,000 watt daylight lamp used on someone at less than 10 feet away is going to cause some pretty intense discomfort. They also generate a huge amount of waste heat, and the model used in the video actually has special internal designs intended to aid in the fast convection of heat out of the body of the light.
@PiccoloNamek, you're "pretty sure" of nothing because this group has shown you no actually burned children. You're pretty sure you agree with the sentiment of this groups but actually have zero facts to support your "pretty sure" claim. Again, where is the charred child shield? Where is the ambulance to rush him/her to the hospital? All I see is attempted vandalism and a police response to the admitted act. Stop operating on assumptions and falling for the fake victimhood of these clowns.
@priorzola I'm "pretty sure" you like to make assumptions about things you know nothing about. In fact, I find the sentiment of the protesting group to be reprehensible at best. Nor did I say that I actually believed the kid was literally burnt. That still doesn't mean it's OK to use an ultra high intensity spotlight as a weapon on them, though.
@priorzola Have you ever been in front of a HMI light? Or heck, any high intensity light at all? If you have then you'll know that being under that kind of intense heat can and will cause damage if expose to it for a set period of time.
What I know what to know is, how is this any different than getting a fire hose and hosing them down? By agreeing with these antics, you are revoking your own rights as an American citizen. This behavior should not be tolerated.
@innerJAG, again SHOW THE INJURED CHILD. There are no injuries to the human shield these tools like to use to protect them from their own WRONGDOING. There were cops nearby so YET AGAIN spare me your piss poor victim card & stop trying to equate people who have a philosophical difference as to when life begins with the discrimination of people who are BORN a different race than you. Fundies like to make false equivalenices. Call the cops when someone "attacks" you with their "lazer beam light".
@priorzola@priorzola I don't care what they were protesting! I'm saying it's wrong to try and ATTEMPT to inflict harm onto people with those fucking lights. For fucks sake man, can you not comprehend that or something? Why even defend people wanting to silence any protesters? Do you even know what the first amendment is?
@PiccoloNamek You're right. Nice to see someone who knows what they're talking about. These spots are actually much more dangerous - in terms of heat and the possibilities of burns - to the people that run them.
@cswift84 Maybe you should, idiot! Have you ever worked on a movie or been under those lights on a shoot? I have & let me tell you, while they do give off some minor degree of warmth they do not "burn" you unless you have your dumb ass face right up against it. You know what is worse then the minor discomfort of glaring lights? Having your head blown off by some nut-job anti-abortion terrorist. Where is it in the 1st amendment that says you have the right to kill an abortion doctor?
For the people with the low IQ's, A group of people are outside the kodak theater protesting against abortion. Jimmy Kimmels production crew wanted them to leave so they put spotlights on them. As you can clearly see at the 1:57 mark. And anyone who understands the physics of temperature would know that would burn your skin in 100 degree weather. Yea it was wrong for chubby to touch private property but he was just standing up for what was obviously a cowardly move by prduction. Yea you welcome
@SignifyingDonkey......so outside temperature 79 plus temperature of spotlight 100 equals over 130. Yea i guess i needed to add for you too. Some people just dnt know when to shut up. Yea burned a second time
@cswift84 All you're doing is repeating yourself. These are spotlights, not death rays. Every video or movie crew uses them in all kinds of weather and I've never heard of anyone being burned or injured. I've performed in summer in Austin Texas, over 90 degrees out, and under multiple spotlights. Hot, yeah. But no burns. Since we're in the rrepeating ourselves mode, do you think they would use these spotlights to burn their employers? yea burned my ass.
@SignifyingDonkey .....youve obviously never "performed" a day in your life or you would understand that the spotlights in question are not meant to be directed at someone 10 feet away. Your name says it all DONKEY. Then again I believe a Donkey would have a higher IQ so infact it is the donkey being insulted not you.
@cswift84, again show the alleged burns of the child shield these fake moral outrage tools are using instead of the property tampering brute who admitted he broke the law. Where are the 'burns"? They don't exist otherwise this group would make a point of using that as their playing the victim card instead of this BS. You're the tool operating on assumptions based on your feelings instead of based on facts. These are fake Christians who ALWAYS use intimidation so they assume others are as well.
The big guy didn't touch anything until they started using the lights to try to silence protesters they didn't agree with. It's not like he just started messing with these guys' lights for no reason.
These lighting guys saw some protestors they disagreed with and tried to force them to stop. The protestors could've left, but they were standing up for their freedom of speech even in the face of intimidation. You people who think the kid should've just moved, I ask if you think that protesters should just backdown when anyone uses any kind of force to silence them? Civil rights wouldn't have gotten very far with that attitude.
Here's what happens when professional broadcast video production meets people who think that what they watch is produced with the crap cameras they see at Best Buy. I produce video for a living and often get folks like that complaining the lights are too bright, the camera's too big, I'm taking too long, there are too many people. But, oh, they love the results...
It's not like the lighting guys were just minding their own business. they saw the kids protesting and disagreed with them so they turned their lights on the kids. The kid didn't move because he or she didn't want to be forced to stop protesting just because some jerks wanted him or her to. If the lighting guys didn't want people to mess with their lights, they shouldn't use them as weapons of intimidation. I'd think everyone would agree with that even if they disagree with this protestor.
@aznluck , you should never go full retarded. You're not even making sense right now.

Priorzola I do know "the law" and in the fine print of that permit that JImmy Kimmel asks for it states clearly that during the operations Jimmy Kimmel Studios will provide private security on sight to insure the safety of staff members and the public. The person punching, kicking, shoving, yelling at the man with the phone is not certified to do so and that is why you can sue Jimmy Kill production, ABC and Walt Disney Studios.

they should have left the spotline on those losers..... listen to those crybabies....right to lifers love picking on other people but when the tables are turned.. cry baby cry....
bigreddog41 1 year ago 2
@Snagggged, sorry tool, not only are the fake right to lifers who have been known to use their own intimidation tactics full of shit, in general, but they're cry babies when someone uses their own tactics against them and they break the law to enforce their own justice (just like "right to life' doctor killers like to do). You have a right to your own opinion but you don't have a right to your own facts. FACT IS property was assaulted by a person in NO IMMEDIATE DANGER.
priorzola 1 year ago
Priorzola the video clearly shows up to ten Jimmy Kimmel production staff attacking this person once he makes an attempt to remove the light from his eyes. Only after they forcibly remove him from the area do they turn the lights off. This entire episode is indecent all parties are guilty of behaving immoraly but the fact remains the JImmy Kimmel production staff assaulted and attacked the man in the video.
Snagggged 1 year ago
@Snagggged, it shows people removing him from tampering with PRIVATE PROPERTY (that probably costs more than his mobile home) when he was REPEATEDLY asked to not touch it. In the same VIDEO some whiny woman operating a $50 Best buy camera was bitching about people touching her property while she was ENCOURAGING someone else to do the very same thing. Again, you don't know the LAW but, as the arrested party's shirt says, INTOLERANCE IS A BEAUTIFUL THING and it goes both ways.
priorzola 1 year ago
@priorzola But the lights were used to assault the protesters, so to compare the tampering of the lights to touching the woman's camera are not the same thing.
JohnnyOU08 1 year ago
@JohnnyOU08, that's a separate matter. The man who attacked the property was not being assaulted and this video shows no injuries caused by the lights (and if there were, they would be featured as this is a propaganda ploy by the fake right to lifers to play the victim card by infusing Jimmy Kimmel into their hypocritical agenda). If they are GODLY PEOPLE who love everybody, they wouldn't attack others or their property when they were in no immediate danger.
priorzola 1 year ago
@priorzola I'm not sure how you can tell from the video if the man was having the lights directed at him or not. And the fact that no one got hurt doesn't make a difference--I could blow an air horn in your ear, which probably wouldn't do any permanent damage, but nonetheless I would have no right to do it. I know pro-lifers are annoying and easy to make fun of, but it doesn't give people the right to interrupt a peaceful protest. Supporting free speech means supporting speech you don't like.

dumbovoy 1 year ago
If the light is shining on them, why dont they just move?
BeHappyFilms 1 year ago
@BeHappyFilms They didn't move because Jimmy Kimmel production studios told them to stand there.
Snagggged 1 year ago
They were asked several times to move the light off the people standing three feet away. They did not provide the people they were shinning the light on with protective eye equiptment, however the JImmy Kimmel staff all wore protective eye equiptment. This episode is entirely indecent proven by the fact that the Jimmy Kimmel production staff moved the spot light only after the police told them to do so, you should sue.
Snagggged 1 year ago
@Snagggged, again that's ZERO JUSTIFICATION for attempted property damage. If you feel your constitutional rights and safety are being infringed upon, call the cops. As happens there were cops on hand but these people did nothing (other than taunt the film crew and call them torturers). The man on the phone who did the damage, was in no immediate danger and was plotting the damage beforehand (thus he was arrested). These are the FACTS not HYPERBOLE about "torture" and "death ray burns".
priorzola 1 year ago
priorzola The person who called the police did so after asking the production staff of JKL several times to remove the spotlight from his face.
Snagggged 1 year ago

DeReCk120 1 year ago
@DeReCk120 If someone assaults you with an object you have the right as a citizen of the united states to defend yourself. Shinning that gigantic light into someones eyes on a very hot July day is paramount to torture. This state of California is not the back drop to JImmy Kimmel studios and the public of California should not be treated poorly by JImmy Kimmel studios. After a violent altercation Jimmy Kimmel studios removed the large spotlight.
Snagggged 1 year ago
@Snagggged, not only are you clueless about the law but you're clueless about what torture really is. if there was TORTURE where are the ambulances? Where were the BURN VICTIMS? They weren't any. The man in question wasn't even being ASSAULTED, he was on the PHONE telling a friend how he was about to destroy property. The STATE OF CALIFORNIA allows filming permits just like they allow protesting permits. These people were casting insults thru out the video that led to an ASSAULT on property.

I'm tired of people thinking they are the only people with first amendment rights.
syetolove69 1 year ago
The crew would've had to get a permit to film. They thus had full right to be there. If the spotlight bothered you that much, you should've moved down the street. You had zero right to tamper with their equipment and sabotage their shoot. Screaming "Assault! Assault!" only proves you have a serious persecution complex, because any reasonable person who watches this video won't see violence, but a film crew trying to stop someone who is damaging their private property.
AForestFire 1 year ago
The people in the line were told to stand there by the Jimmy Kimmel production staff. The Jimmy Kimmel production staff then focused high intensity spot lights on the people in the line, this is a hazard and is dangerous. The legal staff of JImmy Kimmel production knows that they cannot do this to do people.
Snagggged 1 year ago
@Snagggged I know right? Incredible how delusion people are. They might as well have used a fire hose on the crowd. Those lights are no joke.

@innerJAG, and you might as well go to the cops who are standing RIGHT THERE instead of calling a friend and telling them how you are going to JACK UP PROPERTY. Just brutish behavior that resulted rightfully in an arrest.
priorzola 1 year ago
@Snagggged, these aren't people in a LINE, they are protesters who didn't want to share public space with others (who had a permit to film) so they played the victim when their own harassment (which continues in this video with taunts and attempted vandalism) didn't work. it's what fake moral outrage wannabe Christians do when they don't get their way. Play the victim card when THEY break the law. The woman with the camera shows the hypocrisy plain: "don't touch me but breaking a LIGHT is ok."
priorzola 1 year ago 3
Sue Jimmy Kimmel, sue ABC, sue walt disney. The production staff of Jimmy Kimmel cannot assault you. The Jimmy Kimmel staff cannot attack you. You have the right to expect to be treated decently and properly in the united states. I think the guy yelling about getting burnt might be overreacting when he says they're burning his people, but I still think these lighting guys are total jerks for using these lights to try to intimidate a teenager who they disagree with by causing extreme discomfort (ridiculous brightness and at least a very very uncomfortable temperature).
hanktzepeda 1 year ago
Shining a light on someone may be uncomfortable, but the guy did not have the right to touch the light. It was dangerous and stupid. If they felt the person(s) controlling the light were doing something illegal or unsafe, they should have called the police, and the issue would have been resolved peacefully, one way or another. I've been on a stage with spotlights at a distance and it's still roasting.
hanktzepeda 1 year ago
@hanktzepeda, pro-lifers are notorious for intimidation tactics and this brite was INTIMIDATING the crew by man-handling their equipment illegally (which is why he was arrested). What's your evidence any child shield was burned? You have none. All I see is a person illegally tampering with expensive equipment and then some whiny woman bitching for having her $50 camera touched while she's encouraging a multi-thousand dollar light to be destroyed. Again, show the alleged burns or stop bitching.
priorzola 1 year ago
@smcleod1990 If someone is assaulting you (blinding you with a huge light when you're just standing there) you most certainly do have the right to "touch somebody else property."
xzxoxlx 1 year ago
@xzxoxlx, actually you do not have the right to touch someone else's property and the fact that the police arrested him for his act of attempted vandalism proves that. There is no PROOF that any child was charred. Sorry, it's obvious that logic and the law is not on your side nor the protesters. So failing any logic, just play the victim card instead. Where's the "burnt" child shield? Why didn't the protestors complain to the police who were nearby instead of taking the law into their own hands?
priorzola 1 year ago
@priorzola Actually, you're completely wrong. If someone is blasting a high power light into your face, you have the right to defend yourself. I don't care if a child was present or not, it's nothing to my argument.

priorzola 1 year ago
@xzxoxlx. so spare me not only your warped logic by your failed comprehension of the law. If you knew anything about these kind of fake moral outrage groups, you'd know that INTIMIDATION and playing the victim is part of their MO. It's how they operate when they don't get the attention they want. If they truly felt assaulted by the lights instead of INSULTED that those lights didn't include cameras pointed at them and their demented crusade, they would have sought the police immediately.
priorzola 1 year ago
@xzxoxlx actually, you do not. And there is NO PROOF that anyone was harmed in their protest group. Again, the very cops that were standing nearby that arrested the vandal could have been sought to address the bright "scalding" light "assault" but they weren't. The PERP was on the phone conspiring to "take the light down". He wasn't seeking to defend himself by the proper channels and he was in no immediate danger because he wasn't calling the cops or telling nearby authorities.

Yea you got burned
cswift84 1 year ago
@cswift84 A spotlight doesn't substantially add to the heat of an open area any more than dropping an ice cube in a swimming pool makes it colder. CrudelyAnimated 1 year ago
No burns!
SignifyingDonkey 1 year ago
@SignifyingDonkey .....You see the difference between acting under spotlights and being put under spotlight to cause discomfort is totally different. The man protesting is not acting. do you understand the difference or is your head really that far up.
cswift84 1 year ago
@cswift84 The heat doesn't change due to intent- there's no settings on the spotlight for "put light on actor" or "cause discomfort" or "burn protester's skin off."

@SignifyingDonkey ....you see if you were to drop an ice cube into a pool that area would be a different temperature than the rest of the pool. Its ok to ask questions because thats how people get smarter.
cswift84 1 year ago
@cswift84 Ok, here's a question. What's your source data on how hot the beam from these spotlights is from 10/20/50 feet away? What kind of spotlights are they using? There's more than one kind, you know. I'm sure you know, since you know a lot of things. (Here's a hint - they're probably ERS spots - typically used outdoors, medium throw). Show me one person who's ever been burned from having a spotlight shone on them.
SignifyingDonkey 1 year ago
@SignifyingDonkey I'm pretty sure an 18,000 watt daylight lamp used on someone at less than 10 feet away is going to cause some pretty intense discomfort. They also generate a huge amount of waste heat, and the model used in the video actually has special internal designs intended to aid in the fast convection of heat out of the body of the light.
PiccoloNamek 1 year ago
@PiccoloNamek, you're "pretty sure" of nothing because this group has shown you no actually burned children. You're pretty sure you agree with the sentiment of this groups but actually have zero facts to support your "pretty sure" claim. Again, where is the charred child shield? Stop operating on assumptions and falling for the fake victimhood of these clowns.
priorzola 1 year ago 3
@priorzola I'm "pretty sure" you like to make assumptions about things you know nothing about. In fact, I find the sentiment of the protesting group to be reprehensible at best. Nor did I say that I actually believed the kid was literally burnt. That still doesn't mean it's OK to use an ultra high intensity spotlight as a weapon on them, though.
PiccoloNamek 1 year ago
@priorzola Have you ever been in front of a HMI light? Or heck, any high intensity light at all? If you have then you'll know that being under that kind of intense heat can and will cause damage if expose to it for a set period of time.

If you look, they punched the producting guy in the ribs when he tried to keep that asshole from tipping over the light.
YAY for WATER BOARDING!!!

@cswift84 Spotlights don't burn your skin, you whiner. If they did they would have used them at Gitmo

@cswift84 The temperature in Los Angeles reached a noontime high of 79 - NOT 100.
SignifyingDonkey 1 year ago
@SignifyingDonkey......so outside temperature 79 plus temperature of spotlight 100 equals over 130. Yea i guess i needed to add for you too. Some people just dnt know when to shut up. Yea burned a second time
cswift84 1 year ago
@cswift84 All you're doing is repeating yourself. These are spotlights, not death rays. Every video or movie crew uses them in all kinds of weather and I've never heard of anyone being burned or injured. I've performed in summer in Austin Texas, over 90 degrees out, and under multiple spotlights. Hot, yeah. But no burns. Since we're in the rrepeating ourselves mode, do you think they would use these spotlights to burn their employers? yea burned my ass.
SignifyingDonkey 1 year ago
@SignifyingDonkey .....youve obviously never "performed" a day in your life or you would understand that the spotlights in question are not meant to be directed at someone 10 feet away. Your name says it all DONKEY. Then again I believe a Donkey would have a higher IQ so infact it is the donkey being insulted not you.

@cswift84 You've obviously run out of defenses and thus have to resort to childish name-calling.
SignifyingDonkey 1 year ago

Civil rights wouldn't have gotten very far with that attitude.

you're burning our people!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA! you just attempted to vandalize private property, have fun in jail

I could care less about siding with either side. Just don't touch someone else's property when they are trying to work.
