i am a very religous person and a creationist but i watched this film and i enjoyed it. It didnt have much to do with Darwin's theory so much as his relationship with his daugher, Annie. Really good film
such a good movie! its available to watch at 'bigmovies4free' - I enjoyed it, shame cant watch 3D on the computer tho lol not quite the same! lolwant to watch it again and again!
Thanks to your ASShole god... long live HAITI... Maybe God is fucking someone near Haiti, or God had a tremendous orgasm of intensity 7.2 on the Richter scale......lol..lol....
The stories about "Creation" being blackballed in the USA seem to be hype to me. Distributors love controversy, i.e., free publicity. It's implausible that they'd be scared away by this, but not by, say, Bill Maher's "Religulous." After the Toronto Film Festival screening a couple weeks ago, companies started bidding for it. It will certainly be released here. A few religious right blowhards will, well, blow hard, but I doubt there will be much if any real trouble.
There are some letter which were released after his death that show how his wife was concerned about his ideas on origin. Its always like this when any breakthrough ideas come into existence, they have to fight with religion.
yes it was a great struggle for him, his work or his wife. Thats why he waited so long to publish and then only because someone else was working on the same theory.
well remember our country is full of a bunch of ignorant creationist who probably wont see this movie so there would be no point for releasing it here if barley anyone is going to watch u know but i agree it defiantly looks great but it saddens me that cause of these creationists it probably wont be released here
Remember, it took Darwin TWO DECADES to release his book because he was afraid of the backlash. But when it released to people, it became a breakthrough.
LOL, When I looked at it the views are 666. I came here because I found out that nobody wanted to distribute this movie. I thought Americans were better than that.
It's so great how Paul Bettany played a character (his finest performance yet) that was Darwin's biggest follower and fulfilled his dream of exploring the Galapagos in "Master & Commander" and now he's actually playing Darwin.

I think creationists should look at movies such as this one and realize that Darwin was not some "evil man".

This movie looks amazing. Everything looks well done and I must say that I am really impressed by the cinematography.
It is a shame to see no official US release date, I sincerely hope that changes.

i disagree. if this movie were released in the US, it would make tons of money but religious fanatics would react violently to its existence.
