  • Splendid technique. Perhaps a four-note intro might add. But who knows. You do a fine job.

  • Sir, that was incredible. I am new to Clawhammer and Sawmill tuning to the point that it's only a few weeks since I started. That was the finer of many examples that are out there. Thanks!

  • im just startin banjo so im not as good as you but i just love the sound of clawhammer it sound so good i think it sounds better tha three finger scrugg style

  • Being a relatively new banjer plucker, I can't tell how you are tuned. Sure would help to know.

Great version of a great tune.

Thanks for this and all of your other great videos.

  • Glad you liked it--thanks!

It's played in gDGCD (sometimes called "sawmill" or "mountain minor" tuning), though it's usually played capoed 2 frets higher to be in A (aEADE). But, as it says in the info section, I couldn't find a capo and didn't feel like tuning everything up 2 frets, so I played it in the "wrong" key. :-)

  • Hey nice playing

  • hey I was just wondering if there would be anyway you could maybe e-mail me some of your videos so I can put them on Cd for my uncle?

  • You can download some (not sure which ones, as I just can't remember) from my website zeppmusic dot com /Demo_videos (watch that uppercase "D"!) If you have any specific requests that are not already there, please let me know and I will upload what I can to that site for you.

    Cheers,

    ZEPP
