  • This is absolute stupidity!.

  • KING JAMES ONLY IS LIES LIE LIE LIE LIE ;LIE LIE LIE

  • Gail Riplinger's "Age Bible Versions" is awesome! LOVED IT! God promised to PRESERVE HIS "WORDS" FOREVER (Psalm 12:6-7 KJV; Matt 24:35). The King James Bible will NEVER, EVER be improved upon!!! The KJB is God's preserved Word for us in English!

  • @iknowthetruth777 If you want to know the truth then James White shouldnt even be considered. Whoever doesnt accept that the modern bibles are corrupt after watching or reading gails book, or even do a collation yourselves, then you are truly blinded by the devil. These bibles that are perverted are a blasphemy against the spirit of truth (Holy Ghost).

  • What she doesn't tell you about her credentials is that she majored in Interior Design. James White has debated her and showed how her book is full of errors. Look up his debate with her.

  • So are there 20 different "Chinese" translations? Are there 20 different "Japanese" translations? The King James AV IS the English translation. There are many English translations of the Bible. They are all commentaries except the KJV.

  • It's worth mentioning right off the bat that NONE of Riplinger's education is in Bible History, Greek, Textual Criticism, or any relevant field of study to her very wrong opinions on the KJV.

  • What!! She has not been able to tell us on the world wide web what Genesis 1;1 really says!!

  • KJV was an excellent translation in its time and still should be honored and used today, but to say it is the only inspired translation is truly ignorant to say the least. We have older manuscripts and more reliable ones too. The KJV was not a perfect translation and there are problems with it (the translation). The Word of God is inerrant and inspired, but no translation is inspired. The extreme KJV Onlyism that Gail promotes is very cultish in its assertions and conclusions.

  • Riplinger has no idea what she's talking about. An MFA is not a scholarly degree, but an artistic one. Fitting, since she seems to be sowing fiction with an intensity matched only by Stephen King.

Her work is a scourge on Academia, and believers and Atheists alike find no challenge in systematically dismantling her views. This is why she has not consented to a debate or non-prearranged interview in the past 10 years.

Her work is not peer reviewed and her best answer to criticism is "Heretic!"

  • @nofalltoofar I have read her book new age bible versions and I am sad to say that there are SO many mistakes of citings, verses that she claims are changed but are not. it is kind of ironic that she is claiming the modern versions are deceptive but that is what she is doing!! She does an acrostic algebra equation with the niv and nasv and claims it spells sin. Lol that supposed to convince us??

  • she is a nut.

  • I just love Gail Riplinger.I pray for her and her ministry often. Her book "New Age Bible Versions" is a fantastic work that is exposing the true agenda of the people behind the NIV,NASB,NKJV, and all of the others. The King James Bible is the only Bible. God Bless you Gail.

  • I read the KJV. I love the KJV.

I DO NOT think I will be cast into hell for studying Hebrew or Greek.

Hebrew is a WONDERFUL language...full of beauty. To see people put down and belittle Biblical Hebrew breaks my heart.

  • Over the years we have all been lied to by many false religous leaders and so called prophets. Many things we have been taught are not even in Scripture and millions have swallowed so many lies by these false leaders. If you are a truth seeker please visit the web site which is displayed in our user name, and take the time to read some of the articles, you will be very shocked.

    Blessings as you seek truth

  • 1 Timothy 2:12.....God's Word....but not if it helps your point? Read your Bibles folks.

  • ALL , ALL , ALL Foreign Language versions before about 1915 , AGREE WITH THE KING JAMES - are based on the same True Texts , of whicxh there are many many many !

The NEWER , foreign language bible versions were also ALTERED !

TO HELL WITH THE NIV - NEW ILLUMINATI VERSION ! AND TO HELL WITH THE " CLEAR BLURRED" the Conference Church promotes !!!!

  • For those KJV only advocates outthere what will you say to those who do not read or speak English?

  • What are you implying? I am an AV, Authorized Version, advocate because I believe in the purity and preservation of the scriptures in each man's vernacular.

  • Watch the video series and your question shall be answered. :-)

  • If you don't read English then learn English which is better than trying to learn biblical Hebrew or Greek. God provided His Word to the world in the language of the world (i.e. English). Would you fault God back in the day before English bibles when people who did not know Greek or Hebrew could not get the Word unless they learned Hebrew or Greek? Its the same issue today except God has provided the greatest outreach by giving us His Word in one English book.

  • So then logically the AV was not the word of God before the 2nd half of the 20th Century when English was not the international language of trade, dipolmacey and commercy. You are making the arguments that Rome made concerning Jerome's Vulgate.

  • @jgrig2 I would tell them to get the Bible in their language that was translated from the TR and the Masoritic Texts!

  • @jgrig2 KJV is written in many, if not all, languages.

  • im not a kjv onlyist by any stretch,

in fact i cant stand the movement, but the kjv cant be written in all languages , because its an english translation.

in fact most kjv on-lies would tell you if your a foreigner you can only have the true word of God if you learn english and read the kjv.

  • @JaycieKyler I advocate using a pure bible in whatever language a foreigner speaks. If there isn't one yet, then someone should start translating the scriptures into his language. This issue is mentioned in the video. :-)

  • @jgrig2 The KJV has been written in other languages, not just english

  • @mbhotie715 hm... now, not true. By definition the KJV is a 17th century translation in an English Speaking Country. You can translate the words from one translation to another, (though that is less ideal given the original Bible autographs were given in Hebrew and Greek), but by translating you by necessity alter the meaning of the original intent. French doesn't even have a word for home, and you expect to translate the KJV to that? Just cannot be done.

  • @jgrig2 What about the missing verses in most modern Bibles? These are important words taken right out. Look at Matthew 4 and Luke 4. One of them says "Man should not live by bread alone." Its missing the rest which makes it make no sense. Ive done some intense study on Bible translations and although the KJV may be harder to understand, its not corrupt like modern Bibles which have words missing and different words which change the meaning and lowers the Deity of Christ and much more.

  • @jgrig2 At the end of this posting (like the 24 or 25th) she states about all the spanish people calling her, the KJV is written in spanish

  • @jgrig2 Use a bible in whatever language you speak. All the time, money and effort wasted on new versions could have been spent on putting the bible into languages that do not have a bible.

  • If you truly wish to learn FACTUAL TRUTH on the subject matter, read James White's book - "The King James Controversy" , It soundly exposes Riplinger for her mis-quotes, distortions, lack of Theological truth etc....Or you can blindly follow this one translation idolatry. Most of you don't realize it's a debate based on emotion, not fact. All arguments are easily refuted by fact, history, logical reasoning and objective study on this "foolish debate."

  • Its merely youre opinion this debate is based on emotion and a lie that it is not based on fact. the NIV is corrupt = fact.

  • Don't be decieved, you would rather believe a lie than except truth. You are so blinded in your bias, that doing objective research on this subject is beyond your ability.

  • fool!!

    your probably a calvinist too!

    lol

  • God said He will preserve His word. He is not the author of confusion. People upset about the KJV just doesn't want to believe what God says. They will change His word until it says what they want it to say. Thank you Gail for doing your hom.ework

  • gail = epic fail.

  • fool!

  • Excuse me, but you're not doing a hot job of representing Christianity with a statement like that.

A simple, "I disagree" would have sufficed.

  • ROFL!

    "rediculous"

    "elemetry"

    "plagerism"

    "embarrasment"

And she is the one who's an idiot?

    ROFLOL!!!

  • And your comment shows how very little you know on the subject.

  • Exactly how does it show that, genius?

  • Why your "elementary" comment, Sherlock.

  • It looks like your the idiot

  • "your"... Learn to to spell you illiterate moron!..ha!...Ha!...

  • The kooky KJV'ers are like a rash that just won't go away. And by the way, Gail, by what authority do you decide what the original author intended anyway? Sure, scholarship is one thing but spiritual authority is another. Give me a dozen churches and I'll give you a dozen that see many doctrines very differently.

  • I just love educated fools!!! Gail Riplinger has it right all the way for a home run!!! Bible corrects us not us correcting the Bible. I love those who act out being a Christian and they expose themselves that they are close to HIM yet they are millions of miles away from HIM. What a carnival of loonies. I trust God to keep HIS Word right and so I do for a simple man like me. I have studied on this for over 35 years and the KJV is 100% right. What a joke out there I see!

  • For those who doubt: Check Dan 3:25 "He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God." If your bible says "a son of the gods." then you have a bible from Satan calling the Lord a devil or unclean spirit. The unforgivable SIN!!!

Psa 2:4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

  • Interesting: Dan. 3:25 says in hebrew 'l-br - alein', son of Elohim (God). In Genesis 6:2 you see the fallen angels (sons of God) and than it says in hebrew 'bni- e-aleim', sons of the Elohim, meaning sons of the gods. So there is a diffence... The KJV seems the right translation in this case.

  • Interesting Gail doesn't tell us that in Isaiah, it DOES say that he was sent to bind up the broken hearted in the NASB, whereas it was probably an addition to the NT to make it quote the OT word for word, whereas the writer probably didn't quote it word for word. I have a feeling that she is not being completely honest about this story of hers with the girl coming into her office. There certainly were a lot of revelations recieved in that office in a short amount of time without any study.

  • You are assuming that the knowledge to understand the translation must be obtained in a university setting. Many people have acquired knowledge through self-study. I don't condemn universities, but it is foolish to declare that Christians must have a degree in order to defend the purity of God's word.

  • @fishslab ..She staes that the word is teachable to the meek, the low educated and the word says it is so easy a child can uderstand it---yet many things are spiritually discerned, as Jesus told us in John 3:3-5.

  • @lighteclipseca ..She staes that the word is teachable to the meek, the low educated and the word says it is so easy a child can uderstand it---yet many things are spiritually discerned, as Jesus told us in John 3:3-5.

  • Fishslab, a woman named Barb Aho has some new stuff on her site that further demeans Gail especially regarding Gail's latest book. Please look at the Watch Unto Prayer website. Aho concludes that Gail is actually an agent provocateur/witch. Weird stuff, the length her critics will go to.

  • Yikes. People are crazy! I used to reference that site. No longer will I do so. I recommend purchasing Cutting Edge: Lodged in the Groves (David Bay Swings and Misses in His Attack on the King James Bible) by Dennis Palmu

  • Barbara's final authority IS the Greek Textus Receptus. I once had respect for her research articles, but she's gone WAY off the deep end with prophecy and is doubleminded, messing with pentecostals/unsaved to be on their radio programs then turning on most folks who work with her sooner or later, Vicky Dillen for one. The choice of bible and right doctrine matter tremendously; it's either grace or law. And anybody trying to keep the law doesn't understand salvation by grace.

  • Barbara Aho claims to be T.R. only. However, she recommends using Strong's Lexicon as a source. Strong's lexicon is based on the Westcott and Hort Greek text. Barabara Aho is NOT T.R. only.

  • Amen, doubleminded.

  • Poor Barbara she's suppose to be kept silence in the Church. What gives her authority over God's Word? Poor female must go against God Himself to have authority over men. That's against God's Word ole Barbara. The Spirit of Jezebel sure is in her going by what I'm reading on Barbara.

  • While I have the greatest admiration for Gail, I've come to the conclusion (as a bible-believing female myself) that she should have had the strength/humility to hand over her years of research work and study to a saved man she trusted to use her material, with her permission. I guess I'd say the same for Barbara, but with Barbara, I'm thinking it's strictly sour grapes and professional jealousy. Barbara is a covenant reformed type believer with wrong doctrine.

  • You have been the kindest person on replies that I've met so far. You must be a true believer in our Savior the Lord Jesus Christ. I have noticed that Gail does everything she can to make sure love, which could show weakness in debates, is the only way to represent the Lord. This is where God uses women for HIS glory to show love and not authority over men. I have a mother-n-law who is a pastor of a church and she has the spirit of Jezebel but I still love her in Christ. She says he hates men.

  • My mother-n-law is married but she is breaking the Word of God since God Himself chosen all male priests in Israel and NT He had Paul define the place for the woman. However, wives today should know that women are to be put on a high level by their husbands because she represent the bride the Church. In Job, I believe, she is to crown her husband and she's the backbone of the family. Her ministry is so important that it's a compliment that God gives her to do. I'm so glad the Lord is coming!

  • Well, I sure didn't always believe this way, took years, ha-ha, even after I got saved. God does have a right order for things, doesn't He? Think how much smoother things would go if everybody respected His order all the way around.

  • You are truly a blessing and I come to see that when a real brother or sister in Christ believe that God does have a right order for things they are truly His child. Look forward in meeting you in our Heavenly Home praising HIM like fananics because we'll all be fananic over HIM. I hope I spelled that correctly but keep on fishing for lost souls and let these people who go after their own lusts fall on their own embarrasments. Thanks for such a great reply!

  • I read some of Barbara Aho's critique of the KJV. She used compared the NKJV to the KJV. Here's an excerpt from her critique:

"In this analysis, each KJV error is compared with the Greek Textus Receptus, readings in English translations before 1611, also the Latin Vulgate, the Syriac Peshitta and the Septuagint when applicable, and the NKJV."

However, the NKJV has on its cover a Satanic symbol. But Barbara dares to accuse Riplinger of a being a Kabbalist despite Riplinger exposing the Kabbala

  • Gail Riplinger's writings are a good example of distortion, twisting the facts.

When she went to Kent State she got a degree in interior decorating.

When she taught for a short time at Kent State, it was in the Home Economics department

Gail Riplinger does not have any advanced degrees in Bible, theology.

  • Since when does having an advanced "degree" make you qualified to be a translator? Aren't degrees based on standards set by men? Do you live by man's standards or God's?

  • So you can take the time to spread your propaganda on the videos I posted, but can't respond to my questions?

  • The KJV says study to SHOW thyself approved does it not? Well then, being a translator does require that you be able to show yourself as a good translator. This requires training and deeper study than Gail has done. If she cannot even meet the scholastic standards of men, then how could she possibly be approved of by God? Even the prophet Daniel could meet those standards.

  • By what authority do King James Only cultists disregard the original manuscripts of the Bible and make the King James translation the standard against which other translations are judged?

  • The doctrines of the King James Only camp are not found in the Bible. The King James Bible is not mentioned in the Bible. The English language is not mentioned in the Bible, neither is the doctrine of a single version. These are all creations of men. Doctrines of men, not of God. This woman is a false teacher who creates division amongst Christians by teaching false doctrine.

  • I did watch and just about everything she says about the Bible Translations, Wescott and Hort is a lie.

  • Gail's names. She has been married 3 times.

    Gail Anne Riplinger

    Gail Anne Kaleda

    Gail Anne Latessa

    Gail Anne Ludwig

  • Guys, don't listen to this troll. Read the court documents for yourself. Riplinger filed for divorce due to being abused.

  • Gail Riplinger - a Home Economics teacher knows nothing about Greek and Hebrew?

  • Typical of troll. You comment on material that you neither read nor watch. Who's paying you to spread your propaganda?

  • well it's about time you read the quran.

  • The Quran has quite a fraudulent history.

  • well prove it.I dare you.

  • The New Bible Translations are more correct than the old ones and just about everything Gail Riplinger says in her books, videos and audio's is a Lie. Please Don't be deceived by Gail Riplinger. Gail is slamming God's Holy Word in the new translations. For further info on Gail Riplinger please see:

    truth . tc/information/gail-riplinger.html

  • what gail has done has painstakingly gone through every word

and syllable of the Bible and found all of the egregious mistakes

your translators did, you need to read about the translators with

their colorful daemonic backgrounds, that you stand behind. what Gail has done for the Christian community will be

appreciated for millions of years, your contribution will be

    forgotten

  • What you're looking at is damage control from capital Christian Center in Sacramento, California why don't you address the fact that your church and the spiritual leaders stand behind the NIV Bible, which has 64,000 less words in the authorized version king James you have found your selves once again at the fools ended an argument, nitpicking about her personal life, while you're allowing thousands of congregation to be fed a demonically inspired Bible, isn't there a curse attached to that

  • Agreed. The truth be told is that all other translations, other than the KJV, is based on Wescott and Hort's work. And guess what? They founded the Ghostly Guild society. In other words Satan was the co-author of the new versions.

  • Debunked? What, did you write the courts to get your own copies of the records so that you can prove her divorces never happened? If not, then you don't know if it's been debunked. Stop listening to what others tell you and do your own checking. That's how you find the truth. Gail Riplinger has been divorced twice and just because you or anyone else doesn't want to believe that does not mean it never happened.

  • Read the article on my website.

  • No, I read the court documents on the site you posted. Read my article. Please stop trolling my videos.

  • Thank God for you putting these videos on youtube I 101% agree with what Mrs Riplinger said in these videos I read her book 'New Age Bible Version'' and looked for myself if anyone can't see the obvious errors in the various version's outside the KJV is blind as a bat.

  • You're welcome. :-D

  • Amen..The KJ bible just has the POWER and thats what truth is and does.

God said He would preserve His word and He has done so. My pastor told me no bible but the KJV long ago,I paid no attention just had one and kept one. Then someone gave me an NIV,it was handy so I took it to class and it was my turn to read and when I read outta that I almost fell back..I looked up and said what? was that right? It didnt even sound right to me and I had no idea why till later,I had the wrong bible.

  • Amen. There's a reason why it is the best selling book. God preserved his word, just as he promised. God is not a man that he should lie.

  • Gail Riplinger books, videos & audio's contains multiple errors, lies, the majority of which are the gross misquoting of other people. In particular, a large portion of the misquoting is of the Bible, B.F. Wescott and F.J.A. Hort. See her divorces and marriages info.

    avpublications . org

  • Thank you so much for this great video of Gail Riplinger,Fighting the good fight of faith...

  • She says that she couldn't find the verse "Thou wilt keep Him in perfect peace, him whose mind is stayed on Thee...(KJV)" Maybe she couldn't find it because it's not in Psalms. It's Isaiah 26:3. And she can't even quote the KJV correctly, so now she is s making up her own version.. hmm.. Heretic...

  • She doesn't even mention that verse in this portion of the video. Besides, she quoted the verse correctly in her book on pg. 455.

  • I smell a disinfo agent!

  • Can anyone tell me how to upload a video thats longer than 10 minutes?..I've seen them on here so I know it's possible. thanks

  • It's not possible unless you had an account before they placed the 10 min restriction on uploads.

  • ok thank you

  • When Riplinger refers to the new versions "removing words" or "cutting words out" or "changing" words, her underlying assumption is that the KJV is the standard by which all other versions are measured. In the mind of the KJVOnly types, it is, of course. But what was the standard before then?

The NIV, NASB, and ESV (for three that I'd be interested in defending) seek to bring the most accurate translation of the most reliable texts available. The fact that xlations differ does not mean "change"

  • She does compare the modern translations to the Authorized Version (KJV) but also to the Greek and Hebrew texts. Your assessment of her work is not based on fact.

  • OK, well then we'll move back one step. The Textus Receptus is the text by which all other texts are measured, in the eyes of those like Riplinger. Same deal. Why is the TR the best base text? It is largely based on some of the oldest texts imaginable, that is, those farthest removed from the originals. The modern versions "change" things or "remove" words because the texts used-- which are much older than the TR-- don't contain some of the "expansion of deity" that the TR does.

  • The Textus Receptus is the majority text. The Textus receptus is based on 90% of the 5000+ manuscripts extant. "Textus Receptus agrees with the vast majority of the 86,000+ citations from scripture by the early church fathers." - Textus Receptus: the Majority Text by the John William Burgon Institute for Study of Ancient Manuscripts, Texts and Papyri.

  • fishslab:

Look up Revelation 22:19 and 1 John 5:7 in the Textus Receptus and then in the Majority Text. Then come back and tell us what you really meant by "The Textus Receptus is the majority text."

  • Better yet, he can look up Luke 17:36, Romans 9:5, Acts 8:37, or any other number of passages and words.

  • I have already stated what I believe the Textus Receptus to be. Read the comment above. You haven't explained what you mean.

  • OK, here goes. . .

    Ready now?

The Textus Receptus differs with the majority text in about 1800 places. Among them, the important passages previously cited.

When you said, "The Textus Receptus is the majority text", you made a false statement based on ignorance of facts.

I was just trying to help you discover your error through learning facts and putting 2 and 2 together. Now I understand that if you could put 2 and 2 together and get 4, you probably would not be a KJO.

  • Not it is not the same thing. There are 1,838 differences between the two. The TR is based upon 5-11 LATE mss while the MT is based upon thousands of mss. from the fourth century onward. And Burgon used ninth century copies to prove his case rendering his arguments irrelevant.

Do you really think anybody REALLY had time to go look up 86,000 quotes on his own? No, he just passed on what he was given.

  • Hort. Is that you?

"I had no idea till the last few weeks of the importance of texts, having read so little Greek Testament, and dragged on with the villainous Textus Receptus.. Think of that vile Textus Receptus leaning entirely on late MSS.; it is a blessing there are such early ones" - Hort

And you based your philosophy on someone had admitted he read very little of the Greek New Testament?

  • Can you tell me what Gail Riplinger - a Home Economics teacher - possesses that makes her an authority on Greek and Hebrew?

  • WATCH the video. She has an answer for you. Why are you commenting on a video you haven't watched?

  • Thank you Gail Riplinger for standing up for GOD's preserve word.

    (11) Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you, for my sake. (12) Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

    (Matthew 5:11-12 KJB)

    God Bless, MZ

  • Thanks for sharing this with us!

  • I became a believer in Christ in 1974. Since then God has given me certain convictions inshich is the trustworthiness of the KJV. I've always has a suspicion of all newer translations..RSV, NASB NIV etc..

  • The book was written out of loving concern for students at the university Dr. Riplinger taught at. In her book, she doesn't use the Peter Ruckman name-calling. Rather she uses her research and logic to refute the claims of her detractors.

  • It also has so many deceitful misquotes and mis-citations, she's very lucky she hasn't been sued. It is truly a terrible, mind-numbingly awful book.

  • Way to follow David Cloud, instead of actually reading her books. None of her "misquotations" obscure the intended meaning of the original quote.

  • I have read "New Age Bible Versions". I own it. And it is appalling.

  • Please read Riplinger's answers to her critics at avpublications(DOT)com in the resources section. Also consider that there are multiple editions of some translations. When checking the validity of a book, please refer to the edition of the reference mentioned.

  • @TheDoctor394 God is with the woman because she defends God's BOOK

  • @warriorspikes51 No... she defends one translation of God's book, with ridiculous, illogical and deceitful arguments.

  • @TheDoctor394 So the fact the the newer translations has removed 60K words isn't deceitful? Words like damnation, sodomy, Lord, blood, salvation, repent... Don't be deceived by the occultists that have changed the Word of God to promote their new age, one world agenda. In the Message Bible, the Lord's Prayer says "As above, so below"!! That's a Lucifierian motto. Open your eyes, ask God for His Truth, not what you want to be true.

  • @LadyMooreJazz They have not "removed" anything. The KJV was not the first translation of the Bible, and not even the first English translation. It is not the standard, anymore than the NIV, etc are. It is just one of many translations of the Bible throughout history.

And to accuse decent, Godly people of being "occultic" because they have been doing God's work, but not in a way you like, is a very, very serious accusation.

  • @TheDoctor394 I never argued that KJV was the first translation, however God PROMISED that He would preserve His word. God doesn't lie. I have both a NIV and a KJV and there are scriptures that are REMOVED. Matt 17:21, Matt 18:11, Mark 7:16. Mark 11:26, etc. My NIV just skips the verse. It has nothing to do with what I like. Tell me why is "as above, so below" in a bible when that is a satanic occultist motto? Satan has always attacked the Word of God and it works because people want to...

  • @LadyMooreJazz This argument makes little sense. It's obvious the translations we have today, whether they be KJV, NIV, NASB or others, are not what were originally written, since the originals were written in Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic. So, naturally, the translations are not exactly the same as the originals. So obviously, when the Bible speaks about God preserving His Word, He was not talking about every exact word written originally. He was referring to the essential message of the Bible.

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • @TheDoctor394 But if God was referring to a particular translation today, why the KJV? You say the modern Bibles have taken out verses. Rather, maybe the KJV added some? Out of all the translations we have now (and I believe there are too many), why should the King James be seen as the one God is talking about? Why should it be seen as the standard?

  • @TheDoctor394 Ok, believe a lie. Just continue to argue about it. I never said I was KJV only or anything like that. All I'm saying is that I believe that the NIV and the newer versions are corrupted. If you don't that's fine. Great have a great life.

  • @LadyMooreJazz Alright, to start with, when you talk about "taking verses out" or "removed", whether you like it or not, you are implying that the KJV is the standard. Otherwise, you could just say the newer translations just don't have the verses that the KJV does. But since you say they're removed, that implies that you are using the KJV as the basis for your views.

  • @TheDoctor394 Didn't I tell you that I wasn't going to argue on the points of history with you? We don't know really what happened back then. But you still won't answer my question as to why is "As above, so below" in one of the newer bible translations and that is a Luciferian motto? Answer that please...

  • @LadyMooreJazz Referring to "as above, so below", it is ludicrous to say that because it appears in a Bible, it must be a wicked plan of a translator because it's also an occultic statement. If we were to find a statement in the KJV that was the same as found in the occult, would that mean the KJV translators were demons trying to warp God's Word? Of course not.

  • @TheDoctor394 I'm no fan of The Message. I think it's a pretty ordinary read. But I would not for a moment suggest its writers are trying any evil agenda. Like with other translators, they're honestly trying to translate God's Word in a way that people can understand, and as accurately as possible. Whether they've done it well or not is another matter, but that's all they're trying to do. No evil agenda. Just honestly trying to do God's will as they see it.

  • @TheDoctor394 Do you know these translators personally? No, and neither do I, but Christ says by their fruit you shall know them, amoung the committees and owners of these newer versions are lesbians, atheists, moneychangers, etc. They are trying to change God's Word to be politically correct and make money from it. The NIV has removed 64,000 words! That's not just changing "thou" to you or "shall" to will. They have to change enough of it so that they can copyright it and make money. wake up

  • @LadyMooreJazz You're still not getting it. :-/ Again you're saying they have "removed" words from the KJV. Again I ask, why are you basing it all on that translation? They have not "removed" anything. They have gone to what they see as the most reliable sources, and have attempted to make a translation that is as close to the originals as possible.

  • @TheDoctor394 I have read some of the accusations about how, for instance, the NIV "takes away" the name of Christ in certain passages, but this is because they see it as how the originals were actually written. If they were really trying to damage the Gospel, why do they still have the name of Christ, and the 100% clarity of the Gospel, in them?

  • @TheDoctor394 Just read something like Romans in the NIV. Don't pick at this word or that word. Just read it. Read it through. It is the pure, actual Christian gospel.

  • @TheDoctor394 I get what you're saying here. They didn't translate it from the KJV so they didn't remove words from the KJV. These bibles just have 64,000 words less than the KJV. Correct?

  • @LadyMooreJazz Yes. :-) Well... presuming that number is accurate. But that is a better way of putting it.

  • @TheDoctor394 Well Hey! We agreed on something regardless how little or big...

  • @LadyMooreJazz There... :-) Talk for long enough, and there should inevitably be some common ground.

  • @TheDoctor394 Can you find an occultic saying in the KJV? Don't get hypothetical on me. You wanna talk facts, let's talk facts. Find where in the KJV there is a saying that would confuse/blend God with an occultic god.

You are ignorant and don't want to see facts for what they are. WHY WOULD SOMEONE REPLACE JESUS' WORDS WITH AN OCCULTIC MOTTO? The Bible tells us that evil men shall wax worse, so to think that these evil men don't exist today is to call the Bible false and live in a fantasy.

  • @LadyMooreJazz If you don't want to be hypothetical, then alright, but you still seem to be missing my point. Whatever reason the writers of The Message had for their translation (and I've read the full Lord's Prayer in it, and I think it's pretty horrible), it wasn't to try and be occultic. Surely they would try something a bit more obvious if that was their aim?

  • @TheDoctor394 And it is rather unfair to say that, because I don't agree with you on these men being evil, that means I'm calling the Bible false, since that must mean I don't believe these evil men don't exist at all which, of course, I do.

  • @TheDoctor394 As obvious as replacing the words of Jesus with a Luciferian motto? The Bible says that the serpent was the most subtle creature of the field. He's not going to come to you & say, "Hi Im Satan. Worship me or another false idol and I promise that you're going to be with me for eternity in the lake of fire." He's going to deceive people. I don't think you're going to hell if you read them, but I believe he's deceiving many with the newer bible translations. Don't you be deceived...

  • @LadyMooreJazz Well... we seem to be talking on two different pages here. :-/ I don't think you're getting me, and, while I'm completely familiar with your arguments, having heard them from the likes of Riplinger, Marrs, Ruckman, etc, I just can't get my head around them.

  • @TheDoctor394 That's the thing doc. It's not for us to get our head around it's for us to take to God and ask Him for His truth and His wisdom on the matter. Paul said, Everything I know, I count it as nothing. Yes listening to different arguments is a tool, but you have to get to the truth through God and God alone.

    God Bless

  • @TheDoctor394 ...argue facts instead of "reasoning together" and hearing from the Holy Spirit as to what God wants us to know. I'm not KJV only - cause I refuse to put the Holy Spirit within me in a box. But I'm not "ignorant of Satan's devices either". Also why are the newer versions copyrighted if it's God's word? R.Murdock OWNS the copyright of the NIV. I don't believe that he's even saved.

"Woe unto those that call good evil, and evil good." People who distort the Word of God to have

  • @TheDoctor394 ...a different meaning or to push a certain agenda that is not of Christ are antichrists... the KJV tells us there will be many of those.

I'm not going to argue history with you, cause that will get us no where because who really knows what happened anyways but the Heavenly Father.

The Holy Spirit who dwells within us knows all truths and can and will reveal them to those who ask humbly for the truth. I know I don't know it all, but the Holy Spirit has revealed many things.

  • I have had this book for 15 years or so and I thought it was written by an angry old man..I had no idea G.A. Riplinger was an attractive lady! Wow!
