  • on my flight from toronto to vancouver i foudn the best scenary was when it entered BC. THe scenary on the way to vancouver when you arrive in bc is amazing and beyond belief. I don't think there's many other areas in the world with terrain this amazing. also you cannot see it as well on the ground as when you fly due to it being so big. flying gives you the best views of alberta and bc i think anyway

  • Web address on video ruined it all, get rid of it.

  • @audreybright22 click the x in the corner of the box.

  • I miss Vancouver wish i was there now

  • nice video !

  • i cant wait to see the same view when i arrive in YVR from Hong Kong ,infact Singapore on may 23rd, but i need to change plane as im taking Cathay Pacific :D

  • i hear thats like the best airline in the world, i would like to take on someday :)

  • nope , Singapore Airline is the best and many are fight for 2nd place :D like Emirates,Cathay Pacific many other more.

where are u from ?? im from singapore :D

  • Wow, pretty smooth landing!!!

  • Are they still landing at Heathrow Terminal 3 ? I really hate that terminal ! Terminal 4 is far better.

  • no the flights only about 9-10hrs depending on the winds.

  • besides the wind i think air canada is slow cause i went to hk for 12 hours and in the same plane back 12 hours usually it suppose to be 10 or 11. the weather was fine

  • THAT WAS A 737

  • How can you claim this is a 737??????? It's obviously an A330!!!!

  • it is defiantly a a330-300

  • London-Vancouver... that's got to be a long flight...especially with Air Canada's ridiculously archaeic entertainment system. It's like AC never left the 1980s.

  • Great video!!

  • awasome and nice

  • they probably didnt use alot of flaps because it was landing and approaching and descending well and probably the aircraft is not really heavy. sorry for bad grammar i can do better than this.

  • Usually, flaps are set based on distance, speed, and how the winds are doing. Unless it's absolutely necessary, airlines don't like their crews using full flaps as the drag created slows the aircraft down to such an extend, that if it's a calm day for winds, you're in for a hard landing.

  • I did a flight a charter one toronto to new delhi and they used a 747-200 from the old air canada and damn that was boring on board

  • i flew Air Canada from Toronto to Vancouver and we used an A330. I found it strange since it was only a 4 hour flight...

  • i did the same. they can put a lot more passangers in this plane (than in an a 321 or a b767 i.e.) and the a330 must be a rather efficient plane. beside this, i find it more comfortable to travel with a long-haul carrier. so i'm quite happy they don't use those ugly b757 like most american airlines for transkontinental flights ...

  • well the thing is, i think we were originally booked on an A321, but something must have gone wrong with the aircraft because just before boarding, we were directed to another gate. strange huh?. i guess we were lucky because the plane was only half full. oo btw air canada does not fly b757's.

  • of course not, that was a misunderstood ;)

just wanted to underline that i'm rather happy with the ac fleet policy compared to many us carriers.

my 330's have been quite full, but there were many intercontinental flights arriving in pearson with people going further, like me.

    greetings from germany ...

  • hardly used any flaps....weirdd

  • That looked like a fairly smooth approach and a VERY smooth landing!

  • I can''t believe air Canada actually fly 330 from London to Vancouver the total flight time is like 14 hours right?

  • @peaceLUCK777 more like 8 or 9 cause u go over the pole

  • I've flown from London to Vancouver and back again, and each time it was on a Boeing 767 300 ER, although it didn't have wingtip extensions on it, like on this video.

  • A330's are used for medium/long haul flights

  • I thought A330's were used for medium haul flights. London - Vancouver is considered medium haul?

  • maximum range is 12.500 km for an a330-200 and 10.500 km for the -300 version. but it isn't prohibited to use the plane for shorter connections ;)
