how old were you when you first starting taking care of your own hair? does your mom (or whoever used to do your hair) have curly hair also? I wish my mom had taught me how to take care of my natural hair. I had to learn it on the internet instead--after years of mistreating it.

@dabadestceecee and you can't assume that everyone with brown skin is black.you and your friends must of have some other races in the family to have those curls.Yah no one texture is the same but blacks don't have curly hair like browns,whites,and etc unless they are mixed with something[like ex 90%black 10% white].From experience I know people who say that they are 100% black when they don't even have black in them or they are mixed race.

my hair is EXACTLY like yours i use the treseme collection and i really like it and i have used the sunsilk shampoo and conditioner and loved it but havent tried the leave-in and mousse am gonna try it as soon as i am done with treseme.i am gonna try ur nightime routine.but i have a question does your hair stay the same when u wake up in the morning or do u put something in it.i would like to kno cuz idk wat to do with mine cuz it losses the hold n i end up putting mousse agian which dries it up
