No, now you look stupid! People like you who don't know what they are talking about should either not comment or at least do some research before commenting so maybe they then know what they are talking about!
a 4600 mAh will make that thing go like 3 times faster. More amps flowing into the speed controller means faster motor and longer run time. with higher amps, (in this case, milliamps) the motor will respond by spinning faster. a higher voltage would do the same thing, but in an electric RC car, the voltage can't go past 7.4v when you plug it into it's speed controller because that'll short it out or heat it up too much.
both the old and the new batteries are obviously 6 cell 7.2 volts, so the speed should be the same! only difference is the mah rating, so you'll get a longer run time! duh!
more amps means more speed so going from 7.2 1500mah to 7.2 4600 mah is going to make a difference in speed, so now you just made yourself look stupid
wow i use those batteries for my bump start box

you dumbass the reason why it was only running 5 minutes is because they are 7.2volt 1500 mah you need to get 8.4 volt 4500 mah
Jenfromgeorgia 1 year ago
you should get 8.4 volt baterries. they get a better performance out of the new e-maxxs. they can take up to 18.8v

its mutch better with 7cell batteries

how long does the battery last?

more volts = more speed!
more mAh = longer run times!

you shouldnt drain your nihm cells to 0 volts this will reduce life dramaticly

no not on the new e-maxx it can handle 16.8v.
MrRobban1234 2 years ago
then this guy should have got a 16.8V LiPo
ferraridriver16 2 years ago
yeah but the truck gets very side heavy if he do that
MrRobban1234 2 years ago
Do you know how much a 16.8V LiPo weighs in comparison to a single 6-cell NiCd? It's about the same. If not, then the LiPo will be lighter.
ferraridriver16 2 years ago
yeah you are right. maybe this would be a very god thing to do.

more mah will give you more speed too
