funny, chrysler town & country, if you use the key to open, if that car is lock, if you open the unlock that van, then the alarm will show up, i have jeep that if open door then jeep will alarm too, sound like he don't know how to turn off the alarm!

The ignition switch must be hard to get used to as it's on the console. We had one on our lot.

If you just put the key in the ON/RUN position in the ignition when the alarm goes off, it will turn off. My dad's car does it all the time.

idk, it does that if you use the key and only unlock the drivers door, if you use the key and turn it twice to unlock all the doors, it doesn't do it lol

@saabkyle04 I think i know why that happens. On cars with alarms, when you open 1 door, it alarms. So maybe it thought you were opening one door to get out and you know

maybe he didnt hv the alarm remote wiv him to disable the alarm before unlocking.

my car has a unlock system wiv no alarm so it doesnt matter..hehe~
