Wow it's really interesting, you can definitely see a strong similarity to Turkish culture, I think they where right when they thought that Turksih emigrated from central asia in the middle ages, it's all there even the hats they are wearing are turkish style and the dancers are like the Turkish whirling dervish. I looked up the uighur language and 1-10 is pretty much the same as 1-10 in turkish.

Let me say that the Uyghurs should be independent. They are not Chinese and their culture is being submerged in Chinese concrete. But why choose a Turkish song and choosing one" Istanbul " which did to the Byzantine civilisation the same thing which the Chinese ared doing to Kashgar.

the comments by Turks. Some Turks dream of creating a larger Turkey with Kazakhs etc (who are as Turkish as Jamaicans are English) , others want to join Europe and to be fair these ones are as liberated, educated and culured as any European, another segment wear veils and the mosque thing and look to Araby and one third of the country is Kurdish ie Caucasian ,and want independence. They are gassed and bombed periodically and called terrorists.
