  • Yeah this one sure brings back memories of the 2in thick crepe soles yellow socks flashy "bebop" shirts , and whatabout "Lemon Drop" by Woody Herman, the beboppers came a bit before teddy boys, I would venture to say that they were the first teenage rebels musically and dress wise, no drugs,, just great times we had.

    We were only allowed to do our crazy bebop dancing in one corner of the Ballroom, these were our happy days before Happy Days on TV.

  • Woke up this morning with this song on my mind. Realized after 65 years that the words are about music notation. Flatted 5th of a chord, sharpie etc. Went to YouTube and brought it up.
