My god! I just heard this song in the novel, and with Jessica's scream, it was just.....wow... I can see why ZUN (Touhou creator) and Ryukishi07 are friends. They are both gods of creating invigorating music and they both have fantastic characters. However, ZUN made the Touhou gameplay so intense and fantastic, while Ryukishi07 made the story just so....I can't say even think of the words of how great it is. I am just so glad to be a fan of Touhou, Higorashi, and Umineko. They're just wonderful.

I watched the anime before playing the novels so I wouldn't have any expectations. Now that I'm playing the novels, I see how much better they are.

I still adore Episode 1 the most just because of the feeling of helplessness. It's before Meta-Battler shows up and before the fight really begins, but the emotions toward the end of the episode are fantastic. The music really helps you feel it, which automatically means the anime failed horribly. Where was System0 when you needed it?

Well, it was supposed to concentrate on riddles, rather than meta-battles and whatnot, but it was too easy to predict what will happen and it wasn't as interesting as the first five.

Episode five still had the same overall feel as in episodes 1-4, but six somehow feels like the first of a new arc or something; like the Kai in Higurashi.(strangely enough, because it was noticeably different, compared to the others.)

I actually laughed at the scene in the anime, because it conveyed close to none of the feelings it did in the novel.

Daisuke Ono did an especially horrible job.

Battler didn't even look troubled by what had happened.

But anyway, yes, there sure are.

In the first episode of the novel alone, there are more amazing scenes than in the entire DEEN adaptation.

Episodes 2 and 3 are even better, but Episode 4 is just epic.The fights.Just the fights.

5 is great, 6 is mediocre, though.

Well, by 'bad' artwork, I don't really mean that it is REALLY bad. To tell you the truth, I prefer Battler's character design in the game to the one from the anime (XD). The general artwork is good, the proportions are right, and the colours are rich enough.

The only thing is that there are not much effect on the art, like usual visual novels, which I used to explain why it is called a 'sound novel' by the creators.
