But the boxes are actually made for display, you can see that in comparison with older versions. So you can still show the doll of in her box. If I want to touch them I but the ones from regular toystores, these are way to expensive for that.

Plus it is easy talking for me I have a younger cousin who only understood that the ones in the box are not to be played with, so unboxing them would be horrendous.

@AnahSkywalker yes, their all gold labels wich means they only made 25,000. do ur research and look at every site because they are all expensive so u can find the best price. usually on ebay they start out very low. like a few days ago athena was 99 cents on ebay now she up to over 300

This doll is awesome i prefer to have these kind of dolls in the box cause it adds a scene and i dont usually do it to make money cause i take accessories out and if they have shoes hidden under a dress or something i romove them cause you cant tell :>

@Gvqz26 I always open all my figures, I buy them so that I can enjoy them, not to make money off of them...the Platinum Barbies are the rare ones, and when I finally get my hands on one of them, it will be unboxed and showcased too :)

Please please please tell me how well she is articulated; it's clear that her bare arm is poseable, but what about the other side? are her legs fully posable? does she have a joint under the bust like the jazz baby or fashionista barbie dolls? And are the clothes and accesorries removeable?

@elizaxeight Both of her arms are poseable, so are her hands, but you are limited with movement becuase of the spear, her legs move @ the hip but that is it, in fact her legs stop at the knee, her boots are actually hallow. There is no joint under her bust, she is meant for display only, so there is very limited movement. You could remove her clothes, but it is not recommended. The shield and spear are attached with a clear rubber band type plastic, Her helmet is glued onto her head.

@BratzRoxxiRocks You know unless you go out of your way to remove her boots (and I don't know why anyone would), it really isn't an issue. The only reason I even know about her missing legs is from the internet. You really can't tell when you look at her.

That is an amazing looking figure. I will give Mattel major props for this one. It looks like it was a major feat to get it out of the box.
