AC5 is going to be what EVERY AC fan is looking for in a near perfect AC game. Obviously if you don't like AC games now it will be less familiar, but still different enought to be a different game with even deeper gameplay (if deep customization isnt enought for those spoiled FPSers).
why are these dead audiances are like "omg?" it's like they havn't played games before.... Armored core games are all crap... it's not like Omega boost in PS1 where the missions are all lenghtly and fun, and fast paced, the missions are all fininshed in less than 2 or even 1 miniuts, no body likes them except for overated overexagerated fanboys such as you'reselves, all exagerating on it, I mean i spend hours to make my fine biuld and finifh the missions in 2 days...All SS
In my opinion I don't really look at the fact that some missions can be done in 3 minutes or less. I think thing that the AC series has going for it is the mech customization. I mean sure that process is improving bit by bit. But if anything I would figure some other way to further customize the mech you pilot, and if this one AC 5 trailer I saw is legit, then there's prolly going to be a whole mess of new weaponry to play around with.

Oooooooh. From Software has been repackaging the same game for the last decade, and they'll keep doing it as long as people are buying. I'd like to see more than a puff of smoke and eventual two-dimensional fire burst when I shoot a plane out of the sky. The series got left in the dust by other games with destructible environments, physics, and missions that last longer than 3 minutes ... If I don't see something really new out of this one, then I'm probably done with speedy mech combat :(

I searched for the some pictures for ac 5 and there is one new thing that sortaf bugs me. For everybody who knows raiden from AC4A nows what i talk about when it comes to big arm back weapon. Well that was fun but even that weapon looks smile compared the back weapon of these new units. (thus the pictures i found from google) to think even raiden need both back slots while these new units caries on one back slot.

how fuckin cool would that be? crouching down while fireing miniguns 50.cal or anything fireing fast while sheld protecting you while there is rain in the darkness and all you can see is gunflashs and fire and explosions of your enemys. speed of (AC3 or ACFA) but for answer probaly mess with the balance some how so AC3 looks like a winner...for now...

Now while I partly Agree with both of you (Saint Seya1 and DopeIndustries) I enjoy AC2, AC Nexus, AC:Last Raven and AC:Nine Breaker, AS WELL AS Armored Core 4 and For Answer. Yeah, the 2nd generation AC Game (AC3 - AC:LR) community died, then the 3rd Generation Community came (You seem to have missed that part, Saint).
I like the AC games regardless of how FROM changes it up with each Numbered Game.
Now, I'm not saying that you can;t enjoy your old games, just stop putting down the new one. It's not even out yet and you're already condemning it. Give it a chance.
It's the little things that keep you entertained on the newer Armored Cores though, and thats what I hate. The story was pretty awesome and all the new parts got me excited, but thats where it ends. Online=laggy as fuck, story missions are too easy, and multiple parts are overused WAAAAYYY too much i.e. aaliyah gen, lahire legs, the new BFF rifle etc... all the game needs is balance and a bit more complexity to the story missions, oh and unlaggy online. Until that happens this game only gets 3/5
I believe that each game is great in it's own right. Each one has good things and bad (Like Answer's laggy online. Hopefully they have dedicated servers this time around, but then, that means they can shut them down).
I myself often use the SOLUH core, White Glint arms, HOGIRE legs, and HOGIRE head, along with the ELTANIN blade and Noblesse Obllige's Assault Rifle. I also usually use the ARGYROS Generator and Latona boosters.
But again, how can you rate the game if all you've seen is the video? I'd at least wait for a Demo to come out before you make such a bold conclusion. I agree with you on the lag, Difficulty, and overused parts, though I see too many White Glint ACs to ever like using that full set again. But hopefully, each weapon in this game will have it's individual advantages/dissdvantages.
Ps3 or xbox? Cuz if you're reppin xbox you'd be seein people with uber lightweights that go a million miles an hour and have WAAAAAAYYYY too much defense for a lightweight.....
If you were actually reading my comments you'd know I plan to buy it, I'm hoping the game will be awesome but like any other game, cinematic trailers don't mean jack shit. 3/5 isn't a bad rating or anything it's actually what a few armored core games are rated. You know you play too much AC if you can name just about every song in the series. The song in the beggining of the video is Autobahn from AC Nexus, Hopefully this makes it to the USA.

You know there's a possibility the "AC" shown in the trailer is not playable at all.
However if it is playable this is an even more insane transition form AC's to Next. Look at the thing on his back! Look at the laser drill thing and whatever was on his right arm, Look at the head part!
I have no idea what's going on in this series anymore...remember when it was just bunny hopping? Hell remember when you could run out of energy?

I talk shit and back up Strongnoob on this, AC2 trough LR was the epic moment for AC in its entirely. I was part of the largest AC community and let me tell you more then half the members dissapeared when AC4 came out...shit looks retarded and went Destiny on us. This isnt armored core, I dont know why they are still using that name for dumbass to buy it so they can expand their budget. All idiots that say AC4 AC4A and AC5 are epic should get a brain surgery. And go back and play AC1-LR..

Yeah, yeah I know I'm getting my hopes up and AC4 did fuck shit up same with FA but I still bought them with hopes to continue that amazing feeling you get when playing armored Core, never happened, never made me have as much fun as I did fighting the last boss on MOA or IBIS on 3 or even one of the pulverizers from LR. All the current gen AC games are missing one crucial thing BALANCE and with new hopes as I see AC5 I wish to see more Awesomeness and less Lightweight bullshit. Good Day Sir

Now while I partly Agree with both of you (Saint Seya1 and DopeIndustries) I enjoy AC2, AC Nexus, AC:Last Raven and AC:Nine Breaker, AS WELL AS Armored Core 4 and For Answer. Yeah, the 2nd generation AC Game (AC3 - AC:LR) community died, then the 3rd Generation Community came (You seem to have missed that part, Saint).
I like the AC games regardless of how FROM changes it up with each Numbered Game.

It's the little things that keep you entertained on the newer Armored Cores though, and thats what I hate. The story was pretty awesome and all the new parts got me excited, but thats where it ends. Online=laggy as fuck, story missions are too easy, and multiple parts are overused WAAAAYYY too much i.e. aaliyah gen, lahire legs, the new BFF rifle etc... all the game needs is balance and a bit more complexity to the story missions, oh and unlaggy online. Until that happens this game only gets 3/5

I believe that each game is great in it's own right. Each one has good things and bad (Like Answer's laggy online. Hopefully they have dedicated servers this time around, but then, that means they can shut them down).
I myself often use the SOLUH core, White Glint arms, HOGIRE legs, and HOGIRE head, along with the ELTANIN blade and Noblesse Obllige's Assault Rifle. I also usually use the ARGYROS Generator and Latona boosters.

But again, how can you rate the game if all you've seen is the video? I'd at least wait for a Demo to come out before you make such a bold conclusion. I agree with you on the lag, Difficulty, and overused parts, though I see too many White Glint ACs to ever like using that full set again. But hopefully, each weapon in this game will have it's individual advantages/dissdvantages.
