Clue me in on why cell shading is bad? This looks fine, as do the gameplay screens. Sure, I prefer old Jackie's voice, but it's nothing to complain about. The Darkness had the sexiest voice acting... the actual "Darkness" had the most orgasmic voice, what's even more amazing was that it wasn't computer generated, it was an actual man voicing the demons and such. Amazing.

I've been a long time fan of the comic and as much as I enjoyed the first game I honestly wasn't a huge fan of jackie's voice. It just didn't fit him in my opinion but this new voice sounds a little better to me.

Well,it sorta looks like Batman Arkham Asylum.I don't really mind either way tho.As long as the story is good and the gameplay rocks I don't really care what graphics style they use.But I do admit I miss the first game's looks.

The Darkness had the sexiest voice acting... the actual "Darkness" had the most orgasmic voice, what's even more amazing was that it wasn't computer generated, it was an actual man voicing the demons and such. Amazing.

@PandaBust nothing is wrong with nolan, i love his work, but the fact is HE is IN EVERYTHING !! i mean cmon pretty soon there wont be any other voice actors because Nolan is doing everything. i like him just not as Jackie his voice is too distinctive so whenever i play something with nolan its "oh its Nolan North" the suspension of disbelief is broken because he is so well known. like i said i hope they bring back Kirk for the sequel, he did great in the first one and really embodied Jackie.

I've been a long time fan of the comic and as much as I enjoyed the first game I honestly wasn't a huge fan of jackie's voice. It just didn't fit him in my opinion but this new voice sounds a little better to me.

Well,it sorta looks like Batman Arkham Asylum.I don't really mind either way tho.As long as the story is good and the gameplay rocks I don't really care what graphics style they use.But I do admit I miss the first game's looks.

None of you morons have even seen this shit in action yet so stfu. And the last guys didn't do that great a job either. You had to have incredible patience because there was nothign helping you along and while the story and voice acting were amazing, there was nothing spectacular about the shoddy hit and miss gunplay. I liked the first darkness, but you all are acting like this shit is ruined when there was only room for vast improvement.

Okay... Why is everyone so uptight with Jackie's new voice? Sure, Kirk Acevedo did an outstanding job, and, yes, maybe Nolan North might not be best for him, but still. I have barely heard a soul complain about the fact that Dante from Devil May Cry has had like... What? Four different voice actors, now. As for the cel-shading... I actually approve of that, and I don't know why people are whining about that, too. Considering it's based on a COMIC BOOK! So cel-shading would fit it better.

Too everyone who is complaining about Nolan North voicing Jackie, SHUT THE FUCK UP! he's a decent voice actor trying to make an honest living. Kirk Acevedo was and will always be the first voice of Jackie, but things change in life and in video games and we have to get used to it. Kirk was good as the voice, but to me it felt and sounded like his voice was more of a 28 or 29 year old man rather than a 21 year old. Just cause Jackie's voice is changed, it doesn't make the game unplayable. >=(

@videoman024 First off right back at you and when was the last time you played a game and in the second they change the MAIN CHARACTER'S voice, halo, mario, gears of war, god of war, call of duty: modern warfare series, bioshock for tenenbaum, they even went for direct voices from ghostbuster the movie for the game, and also the fact you said a voice over guy is trying to make a 'honest living' what did he do, drugs or something. Now everything they revealed for the sequel totally disappointed me. Fuck 2KGames for letting Digital Extremes develop this game. Starbreeze should have done it after all.

The game hasn't even come out yet, there's no game-play trailers, just pictures, and yet you're already openly bashing it. Give the game a chance.
