Unfortunately, you are seven years off the mark, and whilst I should have known it was a bad idea to post my own personal opinion on a Youtube video, I can't help but feel slightly offended when you claimed I was a child, due to the fact I prefer the Disney version of 'The Hunchback of Notre Dame' rather than this one. What, is it a crime for teenagers to love Disney?
Although I wasn't over keen on this version I really loved Richard Harris as Frollo he seemed to potray him really well out of all the Frollos I've seen. I've still yet to read the book though so I can't make a proper comparison yet.
i heard that in the book she was punish to death,because she was accused of murdering phoebes,and having something to do with withcraft,of course phoebus didn't died,he did a terrible thing by not telling the true,that frolo was the one who tried to kill him.
same, its just too different from the book. i can understand that they left out scenes and characters but they've changed the whole bloody thing. esmeralda was NEVER in love with gringoire she was in love with phoebus who doesn't even have a role worth mentioning. also, i see no sign of frollos little brother or esmareldas true identity.
The casting is great, but... the storyline just doesn't seem right to me. :( The book is so different... Movie-Frollo is a big pain in my butt. His character is ruined.
However I'm looking forward the last episode. :) Quasimodo is lovely, the actor is so cool. And of course, Salma Hayek rocks.
Yes! Esmeralda lives! The story's not all dark and depressing like the book is! Oh, I hope Quasi lives, too. Please p[ost part 16 ASAP. Thanks for posting this
