  • that movie the tunnel was fked haha

  • maybe i would go down they if i had a army of 5000 men with flame throwers and mini guns and spot light with a yr long batery. on 2nd thought i would still not go down there.

  • It's like FALLOUT3 in the subways

  • Thumbs up if the Tunnel sent you here!

  • The Tunnel

  • @Gamer03121993 it was a real life film???

  • @xXxAndrEzhItOxXx4 The Tunnel is not based on true stry, but it's a good movie and i hoped that it would be real. I also saw that kind of place like in the movie: there were some guys in same place as like in the movie, and there is simular being.. i have been trying to find the video but so far without luck

  • @Gamer03121993 i saw the movie in the morning and it said it was a real life movie, but those were actors!

but i thought it was a true event

  • @xXxAndrEzhItOxXx4 ok, im not sure if it was, but i really hope it was, i like these mysterious deadly creatures :)

  • @Gamer03121993 so do I !!! :S

  • I went to St James station today to try and find the tunnels, and to my disappointment ... they don't exist anymore. Now, they've joined the in-use platforms by filling in what was the empty tracks with concrete. When you look at the ceiling of the St. James station, it shows 4 like-tube like tunnels, the outer two in use while the inner two covered (which was the entrance to the tunnels shown here in the video). It would be a shame not to show the public the complexity of the CityRail network.

  • @Fearosius Don't be disheartened fellow urban explorer! There are still WAYS inside ;)

  • The "spare tunnels" were actually built for Bradfield's intended Eastern and Western Suburbs Railways, which were supposed to junction with the City Circle lines at Saint James. Ironically, the present E.S.R. platforms at Town Hall were constructed for the W.S.R., and the Up and Down directions were reversed.

  • And now the cityrail brains trust has installed a lift at St James right in the middle of where the tracks would run on the 'spare' platforms. Amazing

  • dig the clash reference...

  • was this in the 80s

  • that be good place to graff

  • @WERKBSW or to see some old school if they had any

  • What year did this air?

  • Pretty old video, trains still have beclawat windows.

  • Does anyone know where I could find more videos that talk about the Abandoned St James Tunnels. This vid is the best vid I have found but I'm still so much more curios into the tunnels ? ?

  • Wikipedia. just search st james station. tells you all about them.

  • i never knew it was that shallow. Melbournes ones are deep as

  • Wow. That one part of The City Circle had lots of History behind it.

  • smart castard lets add another two tunnels haha not like dik engineerers today oh im on the m5 let

s build only two lane hahah smart cunt

  • Do those extra platforms at St James still exist as they appear in thew video? As I recall last time I went to St James there were two tunnels in the Center of the two platforms which had been blocked off. The toilets are now on one end of the platforms in the old tunnels.

  • i beleive they still do but according to the ARHS WEBSITE, the tours are ceased till further notice

  • The tunnels all still remain as were shown in this video, and the disused tunnel network extends far beyond whats shown here. i paid for an extensive private tour once and it was an incredible experience, and i just hope they plan to recommission the tours, although it's probably OH&S along with life insurance prices that's killing them.

  • so is the general macauther stuff real?

  • yes, if you look in the right place, the disused platforms are still there. one of them atleast, i walked on it a few years ago when i did a guided 'tunnel tour' through all the sydney underground through mud in BIG mud boots. most fantastic tour i've ever been on, but it was canceled due to hypothesis by our pathetic government that the tours would incite terrorism, pinpointing key areas underneath important city buildings, like this video does. pathetic, petrified governments ruin all fun.

  • Definitely will be featured if an episode of Cities of the Underworld is made of Sydney.

  • anyone got more info \ details on this and the u.s in australia in ww2

  • wow pretty intresting
